Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a connector comprising a tubular body (1) defining a channel (2) having a section (4) for receiving the end of a duct (100), wherein said reception section extends to the outside via an inlet opening (6) and comprises sealed connection means (13, 9) for the end of the duct in the reception section, a rigid sleeve (21) extending on an outer portion of the body and protruding from the inlet opening, the sleeve including first and second opposite ends (22, 23) respectively associated with first and second annular and elastically deformable outer sealing members arranged to bear respectively on the body and on the duct.
Abstract:
A fitting (1; 100) comprising an outer body (10; 110) and an inside gripper element (24; 124) suitable for blocking the extremity of a pipe (2). The gripper element comprises a terminal edge (30) on which can be exercised an axial force for moving the gripper in an advanced release position. On said terminal edge is fitted an annular protection element (40) comprising an inner lipped portion (42) extending in a radial direction towards the inside of the axial cavity of the outer body of the fitting so as to interact with the outer surface of the pipe. The outer body also comprises a cylindrical terminal portion (34) extending in an axial direction at least until it surrounds said protection element (40) so that the terminal edge of the gripper element is only accessible by means of a special tool.
Abstract:
A duct section and system, including a laminated shroud, acting as a secondary duct, for aerospace and other applications, and a method for constructing same. The duct structure incorporates a metallic primary duct tube, with a laminated shroud surrounding the primary duct tube and separated therefrom by an annular gap. The laminated shroud includes a metallic inner layer and a polymeric outer layer. Preferably, the thin metallic layer is a corrosion resistant material such as corrosion resistant stainless steel or titanium. In one embodiment of the invention, the outer polymeric layer is a polyimide material, such as polyimide resin-impregnated fiberglass cloth.
Abstract:
To mount a partition cover (2) in a pipe joint (1), a nut (12) is screwed onto a joint body (11) to sandwich the partition cover (2) between the joint body and the nut. At this time, the partition cover is supported so as not to press a sleeve (13). As such, an opening (la) of the pipe joint is sealed while preventing the sleeve from being deformed due to the partition cover being mounted.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a connector device (1) for pluggingly connecting at least one media conduit (6). Said connector device (1) is composed of a housing part (2) comprising at least one receiving hole (4) for plugging in the conduit (6), and a clamping ring (8) which is arranged in the receiving hole (4) and cooperates with an inner cone (16) of the housing part (2) in order to lock the plugged-in conduit (6). The two-piece housing part (2) encompasses an outer base piece (28) and an inner insertion piece (32) that is removably connected to the base piece (28) via a catching connection (30) and is provided with the inner cone (16). The insertion piece (32) is equipped with at least two radially elastic spring arms (40) so as to be able to remove the conduit (6), the free ends (48) of said spring arms (40) extending from the region of the inner cone (16) in the direction of the mouth side of the receiving hole (4). Radially outward-protruding catching extensions (42) of the spring arms (40) engage into corresponding catching holes (44) of the base piece (28). The catching extensions (42) can be moved radially inward into a detached position releasing the catching holes (44) for detaching purposes. A contamination seal (34) comprising a sealing area (A) is disposed in the region of free ends (48) of the spring arms to circumferentially rest upon the media conduit (6). The catching extensions (42) of the spring arms (40) are disconnected, regarding the radial detaching movement thereof, from the sealing area (A) of the contamination seal (34) via a deformation zone (49) in such a way that the radial detaching movement of the catching extensions (42) is performed substantially without being influenced by the contamination seal (34) radially resting on the media conduit (6) because the deformation zone (49) is deformed.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a connector device (1) for the plug-in connection of at least one pipe (6), comprising a housing piece (2), with at least one insertion opening (4), for plugging in the pipe (6) and a clamping ring (8), arranged within the insertion opening (4), which cooperates with an internal cone (16) of the housing piece (2) to lock the pipe (6). The housing piece (2) is a two-piece embodiment, comprising a base piece (28) and an insert (32) which includes the internal cone (16), connected by means of a snap-in positive-fit connection (30). The insert (32) comprises a contamination seal (34) for contact with the circumference of the plugged-in pipe (6). The insert (32) thus comprises a first relatively hard and rigid plastic material and the contamination seal (34) is directly moulded thereon with a material connection in one piece and is made from a second relatively soft and elastic plastic material.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a plug connector (1) for fluid conduits comprising a housing part (2) provided with a plug locator (4) for fluid-tightly inserting a tubular plug-in part (6). The plug locator (4) comprises first of all a holding element (14) for locking the plug-in part (6) and a fluid seal (16) which are disposed therein away from a contamination seal (10) on the side of the opening in the plug-in direction. A leakage path is formed in such a way that a definitly limited physically sensible loss of tightness is ensured when the plug-in part (6) locked by the holding element (14) is not yet sealed by the fluid seal (16) in a pre-locked position thereof. Said leakage path is formed by cavities (40) which are disposed on the circumference of the plug-in part (6), in the pre-locked position, between the fluid seal (16) area and the contamination seal (10) area.
