Abstract:
Sliding door leaf system for closing or opening an entrance composed of one or more door leaves and of means for removably fastening said one or more door leaves to one or more carriages slidably mounted on at least one overhead track, said fastening means comprising a lower fastening element connectable to the door leaf by securing means and an upper fastening element projecting underneath said carriage. The present invention relates also to a door leaf system for closing and/or opening an entrance, composed of one or more sliding or hinged or folding door leaves and having floor -mounted guide or abutment means preventing the door leaves from swinging in a direction transversal to the plane defined by the aperture of said entrance. According to another further aspect invention relates to a floor-concealed guide or abutment device optimized specifically for suspended sliding door leaf systems.
Abstract:
A safety mechanism for preventing door slamming includes a board and a pivot extending from the board. A rotatable arm is attached at a first end to the pivot. Door arresting wedge (AW) is attached substantially perpendicularly to the second end of the arm. One or more magnets are disposed on the board for attracting the arm. One or more magnets disposed on an edge of the arm, and a matching stopper is used to limit the rotation of the arm.
Abstract:
Two or more panels of a power-operated folding door are supported by a novel articulated arm assembly that ensures that the door closes tightly against a wall-mounted seal and easily opens. The articulated arm assembly includes a connector with two spaced-apart pivot points about which two adjoining arms of the assembly can rotate as the door opens and closes. The two pivot points allow the panels to readily fold up and store more compactly when the door is open. To provide an airtight seal where two leading panels come together at the center of the doorway, one or more control mechanisms coupled to the articulated arm assembly ensure that the leading panels overlap when the door is closed.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a hinge with magnet which protects the door from sudden close by wind at a certain open angle of the hinge with the magnet force. The hinge in this invention is characterized by being comprised of; the 1st member of which one side is formed with an extended rotating hole and a curvature, in which a stopper with a magnet rod is formed, front side is formed with connecting holes; the 2nd hinge member formed with rotating holes on one side and multiple holes on the front; and the rotating shaft which rotates the 1 st and 2nd hinge members, by penetrating the rotating holes formed by the 1st and 2nd members and multiple bearings in the rotating holes, and jointed with a fixing member, and the 2nd hinge member is attached with the magnet rod and prevents the door from closing by keeping it open at a certain angle.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a magnetic locking device (1) for a furniture part (2) that is movably mounted on a piece of furniture (3). The inventive locking device (1) comprises at least two pieces (5, 6), a first one (5) of which is or can be disposed on the furniture carcass (4) while the other one (6) is or can be arranged on the movable furniture part (2). Said at least two pieces (5, 6) apply a magnetic force of attraction to each other at least in the closed position (E) of the movable furniture part (2). The first piece (5) of the locking device (1), which is disposed on the furniture carcass (4), is mounted particularly in a separate housing so as to be movable in the direction of the movable furniture part (2). Furthermore, the first piece (5) of the magnetic locking device, which is assigned to the furniture carcass (4), is impinged upon by an energy store (8) that acts in the closing direction (SR) of the movable furniture part (2).
Abstract:
A support system includes a frame member and a cover magnetically coupled to one another proximate an edge of the cover and in an aligned state. The cover is rotatable with respect to the frame member without any structural coupling therebetween while the frame member and cover remain substantially in the aligned state. A method of supporting a cover with respect to a frame includes magnetically attracting the cover and frame to each other proximate an edge of the cover.
Abstract:
A hinge device with predetermined moving sequence includes a first connection element (2) for an appliance (3) and a second connection element (4) for a door (5) of appliance (3), and provided with respective rotation pins, first (6) and second (7), for the mutual rotatably connection through a middle element (8). The device (1) includes a whole of magnetic means (9) associated to at least one of the rotation pins (6, 7) in order to removably stop the rotation thereof at the rotation of the other rotation pin 10 (7, 6). Each first magnetic means (9) includes a magnet member (10) and a magnetic abutment member (11) one of which is fixed to the middle element (8), the remaining member is locked to one of the connection elements (2, 4).
Abstract:
A hinge for a self-closing element, in particular for a self-closing door (1), has tabs (3, 4) secured to the closing element (1) and to associated holding means. The tabs (3, 4) are joined together in an articulated manner by a linking pin (6). At least one permanent magnet (7, 12) is arranged on each tab (3, 4). The permanent magnets of both tabs have approximately the same shape and are arranged on the linking pin next to each other. The permanent magnets are in register and when the closing element is closed, the axes of the permanent magnet are parallel and their like poles face away from each other.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a door, in particular a double-wing door, whose door-wings execute, during closing and opening, a combined translational and rotational motion about a vertical axis. The door is fitted with detachable means which enable the door to be used on emergency-exit and escape routes, i.e. when a manual force is applied from the inside on the door-wings, they are disconnected from the drive unit and can easily be opened by hand. So that the door does not remain open, however, the design includes switches or sensors which report any manual opening of the door to the control electronics which in turn sets the drive in operation in order to connect the door-wings automatically with the drive unit again.
