    Abstract: A pipe coupling (100) for receiving, holding and releasing a pipe, comprising a coupling body (110) having a bore (B) with a geometric axis (A) into which a pipe can be inserted in a pipe insertion direction (P); a rotatable sleeve (170) which is arranged at least partially around the coupling body (110) and which is rotatable around the axis of the bore with respect to the coupling body (110); a gripping element (140) configured to engage a surface of the pipe; a pipe release element (160) configured to disengage the gripping element (140) from the surface of the pipe upon axial movement of the pipe release element (160); and a release collar (180) coupled to an end of the rotatable sleeve (170). Axial rotation of the rotatable sleeve (170) in a first direction causes the release collar (180) to move axially from a locked position to an unlocked position and wherein in the unlocked position, the release collar (180) can be moved axially in a pipe insertion direction (P) to cause the pipe release element (160) to disengage the gripping element (140) from the surface of the pipe.

    Abstract: A food reflux reducing two-piece nasogastric tube includes a first tube body and a second tube body. The first tube body has a first connector on one end, and a protrusion edge on an outer side of the first connector in adjacent to the first positioning portion. The first connector has a through hole having a seal portion in adjacent to the first positioning portion. The seal portion has a cross break. A convex portion is on an inner edge of the through hole between the seal portion and the first positioning portion. The second tube body has one end provided with a second connector and an insertion combination tube extending therefrom. Two elastic arms extend from an outer side of the second connector and comprise a hook portion respectively. Thus, the second tube body is efficiently connected with and removed from the first tube body.

    Abstract: A quick connect structure having a fitting connector, a connector, and U-shaped positioning snap pin. The fitting connector has a connector part, a fitting connector body part coupled to the connector part, and a fitting part coupled to the fitting connector. The connector part, the fitting connector body part, and the fitting part define a fitting hole extending therethrough, and the fitting part defines positioning groove, a longitudinal snap hole, and a side snap opening in communication with the longitudinal snap hole. The connector has a connection end, a connector body part coupled to the connection end, and a positioning bump. The connection end and the connector body part define a duct hole extending therethrough, the connection end defines a positioning snap groove, and the fitting connector is configured to accept the connection end in the fitting hole. When the connection end is fully inserted into the fitting connector, the positioning bump is located in the positioning groove, and the longitudinal snap hole is aligned with the positioning snap groove. The U-shaped positioning snap pin has a pin base, a pin body part coupled to the pin base, and a snap protrusion coupled to the pin body part. The U-shaped positioning snap pin is configured to be partially inserted and fully inserted into the longitudinal snap hole; when partially interested, the snap protrusion engages the side snap opening and the connector is able to be inserted into the fitting connector; and when fully inserted and when the connector is inserted into the fitting connector, the pin body part engages the positioning snap groove and the snap protrusion engages a longitudinal snap hole exit.

    Abstract: One aspect of the invention provides a method including: obtaining a kit as described herein; advancing a cut end of the length of CSST over the nipple of the fitting; placing the crimping jaw over the cut end of the length of CSST and the fitting such that: the one or more alignment bosses are seated within the one or more alignment grooves; the one or more crimping points are seated within one or more of the corrugation valleys; and the one or more crimping points and the corrugation valleys are radially over the one or more annular corrugation grooves; and applying force to the crimping jaws, thereby forming a gas-tight seal between the cut end of the CSST and the fitting.

    Abstract: An improved quick connector is provided. The quick connector includes an assembly check that is partially received within an input end of a connector body. The assembly check includes a pull tab and a shielding portion. Upon insertion of a male connector within the input end of the connector body, assembly check retracts from the input end of the connector body and can be manually removed via the pull tab. Once removed from the connector body, a machine readable verification indicia can be read. The verification indicia is visible on an underside of the shielding portion or visible on the connector body once the shielding portion is removed.
