Abstract:
A furniture drive is provided for driving a movable piece of furniture. The drive includes an electric motor, an actuator that can be moved back and forth between two end positions to apply a force on the piece of furniture to be driven, and a gearbox connected between the electric motor and actuator. The gearbox has at least one gear stage configured as an eccentric gearbox and includes two gear wheels that mesh with each other. One of the two gear wheels is firmly connected or coupled to the actuator, and the other gear wheel is coupled to the electric motor such that the eccentric gearbox has two limit positions which correspond to the end positions of the actuator. Upon a rotation of the gear wheels, starting from the limit positions, the gear ratio decreases over a deformed rotational angle range.
Abstract:
A piece of furniture has a movable section e.g. hatch that pivots in response to an actuator mechanism. The actuator has a spring (5) device including a biased pushrod (13) and a translatory mechanism (7) linked to the actuator arm (2). The translatory mechanism incorporates an adjustment unit (8) that varies the translation ratio between the pushrod and actuator arm swivel action.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension mechanism for a power sliding device, which is suppressed of cable friction noise. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the power sliding device, when a wire drum 15 is rotated for opening a door, a door-opening cable 17' is reeled and a door-closing cable 17" is unreeled, to thereby slide a sliding door in a door-opening direction, and when the wire drum is rotated for closing the door, the door-opening cable 17' is unreeled and the door-closing cable 17" is reeled, to thereby slide the sliding door in a door-closing direction. In the tension mechanism, cable-abutting surfaces 22B, 23B of respective tension rollers 22, 23 are each formed as an inclined surface that has a progressively reduced diameter from one axial end to the other axial end. Further the door-opening cable 17' and the door-closing cable 17" each moves, from a long-diameter side to a short-diameter side of each of the cable abutting surfaces 22B, 23B, when reeled by the drum 15.
