Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Schmierfettzusammensetzungen, umfassend (a) wenigstens ein hochviskoses, fluoriertes Öl miteiner Viskosität von 500 bis 1500 mm 2 /s,(b) Bornitrid und (c) ein Bindemittel,das ausgewählt ist unter Bentonit,Alkalimetallphosphaten, Aluminiumphosphaten, Alkalimetallsilikaten, Erdalkalimetallsilikaten, Aluminiumsilikaten, Erdalkalimetallcarbonaten, Calciumborat, Siliciumdioxid, Titandioxid, Aluminiumoxidund Mischungen davon.Die Schmierfettzusammensetzungenfinden insbesondere im Hochtemperaturbereich, beispielsweise für die Schmierung von Ofenauszugsschienen, Anwendung.

During the break-in period of track (22) assembly components, galling can occur between the components during use. The components include a pin (68) that is received within a bushing (70) and alternatively a sleeve bearing (74) between the pin (68) and the bushing (70) depending on the load. A method to prevent or reduce galling includes applying a coating (78) of zinc phosphate and a low-friction layer (76) on top of the zinc phosphate (78). The low-friction coating (76) can be made of WS 2 (Tungsten Disulphide), BN (Boron Nitride), MoS 2 (Molybdenum disulfide) or PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) and deposited during a mechanical treatment.

Lubrication and friction reduction improves fuel efficiency and reduces energy consumption. Effective and controllable material removal results in superior surface finishing and planarization. Nanosheets are developed with specific functionalization that can be used to reduce friction and wear, improve the fluidic property, and rheological performance.. The nanosheets can be from the graphite family, transition metal dichalcogenides, transition metal trichalcogenides, semiconducting chalcogenides, metal oxides, layered hydroxides, clays, ternary transition metal carbides and nitrides, and zirconium phosphates and phosphonates, and their corresponding dopants. Tribological, rheological, and polishing applications include lubricants, viscosity modification, and chemical-mechanical planarization. The nanosheets are useful in improving efficiency and lifetime of machinery, saving energy for mechanical operations, and optimizing manufacturing processes in surface engineering.

The invention relates to a sliding bearing (1) comprising a metallic support layer (2), a bearing metal layer (3) and an overlay (4) produced from a dry film lubricant. Said metallic bearing metal layer (3) is arranged between the support layer (2) and the overlay (4) from the dry film lubricant. Also, the overlay (4) comprises a matrix made from polyimide in which at least one platelet-shaped solid lubricant is contained. Fibres are also contained in the polyamideimide matrix.
