    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain long life while suppressing abrasion of a clutch 6 without impairing engaging property of the clutch 6 by adopting a grease suitable for the clutch 6.
    SOLUTION: The clutch 6 is provided between a first rotary body 3 fixed to a crank shaft 2 of an engine and a second rotary body 5 always engaged with a pinion gear 10 of a startor, and transmission of torque is performed from the second rotary body 5 to the first rotary body 3 through the clutch 6. At the inside of the clutch 6, the grease containing squalene as a base oil is filled. Squalene has a characteristic feature that temperature dependency of kinematic viscosity is small and traction force is high. By using the grease containing squalene, engaging property and wear-resistance of the clutch 6 can be made compatible. Namely, since abrasion of an inner part 6b can be suppressed without impairing the engaging property of the clutch 6, long life can be attained without increasing physical size of the clutch 6.
