Abstract:
Disclosed is an electroconductive grease comprising a fluorine oil, an electroconductive material, and a thickening agent, the electroconductive grease containing 5 to 20 wt. % of carbon black having a DBP oil absorption amount of 250 ml/100 g or less as the electroconductive material, and 2 to 15 wt. % of fluorine-containing resin particles having an average primary particle size of 1.0 mum or less as the thickening agent. The electroconductive grease comprises carbon black having specific properties, and fluorine-containing resin particles, preferably PTFE particles, having an average primary particle size of 1.0 mum or less, and therefore exhibits excellent oil separation characteristics, namely, a remarkably lower degree of oil separation, which can also be reduced to 10 wt. % or less.

In a synthetic resin-made thrust sliding bearing 1, a silicone grease whose base oil is a silicone oil, whose coefficient of kinematic viscosity at 25°C is not less than 100 cSt and not more than 500,000 cSt, and which contains a thickener so as to set its worked penetration to not less than 200 and not more than 400 is interposed at sliding interfaces between, on the one hand, an upper surface of a lower annular flat plate-shaped portion 202 defining a bottom surface of a lower annular recess 204 and a lower surface of an upper annular flat plate-shaped portion 102 and, on the other hand, an upper surface and a lower surface of a thrust bearing piece 300 which are respectively brought into sliding contact with the upper and the lower surface.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoconductive silicone grease composition that exhibits excellent heat resistance and hardly causes oil bleeding. SOLUTION: The thermoconductive silicone grease composition includes at least (A) an organopolysiloxane represented by the general formula, (B) a thermoconductive filler and (C) an aluminum-based or titanium-based coupling agent. In the formula, R 1 's are the same or different and are each a monovalent hydrocarbon group; X's are the same or different and are each a monovalent hydrocarbon group or an alkoxysilyl-containing group represented by the general formula: -R 2 -SiR 1 a (OR 3 ) (3-a) (wherein R 1 is the same as above; R 2 is an oxygen atom or an alkylene group; R 3 is an alkyl group; and a is an integer of 0-2); and m and n are each an integer of at least 0. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain long life while suppressing abrasion of a clutch 6 without impairing engaging property of the clutch 6 by adopting a grease suitable for the clutch 6. SOLUTION: The clutch 6 is provided between a first rotary body 3 fixed to a crank shaft 2 of an engine and a second rotary body 5 always engaged with a pinion gear 10 of a startor, and transmission of torque is performed from the second rotary body 5 to the first rotary body 3 through the clutch 6. At the inside of the clutch 6, the grease containing squalene as a base oil is filled. Squalene has a characteristic feature that temperature dependency of kinematic viscosity is small and traction force is high. By using the grease containing squalene, engaging property and wear-resistance of the clutch 6 can be made compatible. Namely, since abrasion of an inner part 6b can be suppressed without impairing the engaging property of the clutch 6, long life can be attained without increasing physical size of the clutch 6. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grease composition in which a base oil biodegradable by microorganisms in nature and having affinity for human bodies is selected as a lubricating base oil. SOLUTION: A distillation residue secondarily generated when biodiesel produced from a vegetable oil and fat (oil and fat extracted from soybean oil and rapeseed oil) is produced as a lubricating base oil is utilized as the base oil for the grease composition. The grease composition is produced by mixing 5-95 wt.% of the distillation residue generated during production of the biodiesel with 1-50 wt.% of a thickener and 1-20 wt.% of an additive.
