Abstract: Presently describes are articles, such as liquid reservoirs, comprising a liquid repellent surface. The liquid repellent surface comprises a surface layer comprising a silane or siloxane material, wherein the liquid repellent surface is not a lubricant impregnated surface. In one embodiment, the liquid repellent surface (e.g. layer) comprise a silicone melt additive and a thermoplastic polymeric material component. In some embodiments, the article (e.g. liquid reservoir) comprise a thermoplastic polymeric material.

Abstract: Provided is a coating composition containing: water; a water-soluble organic solvent that has a flash pint of at least 80° C. and not more than 200° C. and dissolves a fluorine resin; a fluorine resin; hydrophilic silica particles; and hydrophobic silica particles. The hydrophilic silica particles are preferably contained in the coating composition in an amount of at least 0.001 mass % and not more than 1 mass %. The average particle diameter of the hydrophilic silica particles is preferably at least 5 nm and not more than 30 nm.

Abstract: An adhesive composition includes a coupling agent composed of a compound having a first functional group that reacts with an inorganic material and a second functional group that reacts with an organic material, and a crosslinking agent capable of crosslinking with a crosslinking site of a fluorine-based elastomer. A seal structure body includes a metallic support, fluorine-based elastomer and adhesive composition that causes fluorine-based elastomer to adhere to metallic support. A method for manufacturing seal structure body includes the steps of providing metallic support and fluorine-based elastomer, and causing fluorine-based elastomer to adhere to metallic support by using adhesive composition. Accordingly, an adhesive composition with high adhesion strength as well as a seal structure body and a method for manufacturing the same are provided at low cost.

Abstract: A manufacturing method for a heat-dissipating coating includes steps as: a) providing a gluey liquid mixed by a first solution and a compound substance at a weight ratio of 1:0.6 to 1:1.4; the compound substance is selected from a group consisting of fluorocarbon resin, fluororesin, acrylic acid resin, polyurethane, polyurea resin, unsaturated polyester, epoxide, and mixtures thereof; b) providing a filler material mixed by a second solution and a filler substance at a weight ratio of 1:0.3 to 1:0.8 and another weight ratio of the compound substance to the filler substance being 1:0.1 to 1:0.6; the filler substance is selected from a group consisting of bamboo charcoal, carbon nanotube, graphite, graphene platelets, graphene, carbon spheres, carbon fibers, BN, AlN, mica, SiO2, TiO2, SiC, ZnO, GeO2, and mixtures thereof; c) mixing the gluey liquid and the filler material to produce a heat-dissipating material, so as to form a heat-dissipating coating.

Abstract: Aqueous, pasty coating compositions containing a fluorine-containing copolymer formed from tetrafluoroethylene, vinylidene fluoride and hexafluoropropene and a polyacrylate thickener which is composed of an essentially noncrosslinked copolymer of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid and which has a viscosity of 4 to 40 mPa s in a 1% strength by weight solution in aqueous ammonia at a pH of 9 at a shear rate of 1,000 s.sup.-1 are described. The coating compositions are particularly suitable for application to textile substrates by means of the brushing process.
