Abstract in simplified Chinese:本发明系提供利用湿式法便可轻易制造,并不致损及并保持富勒烯(fullerene)原本性质之以富勒烯衍生物为原料之富勒烯膜、及富勒烯聚合体暨该等之制造方法。将依较低于富勒烯热分解温度的低温施行分解之例如下式所示富勒烯衍生物的溶液,涂布于基材上,并将所获得涂布膜依较高于富勒烯衍生物热分解温度、且较低于富勒烯热分解温度的温度施行加热,便可获得保持着富勒烯原本性质的富勒烯膜与富勒烯聚合体。

An article, comprising a substrate and a polymer film attached to the substrate is provided, the polymer film comprising a first layer of a first polymer functionalized by a first functionalization compound covalently bound to said first polymer and bearing at least one catecholic group being present on a surface of the first layer. The polymer film is a layered film, a top layer of which is formed by the first layer, the layered film comprising at least one further layer of at least one further polymer functionalized by a further functionalization compound covalently bound to said further polymer and bearing at least one catecholic group being present on a surface of the at least one further layer, wherein an average ratio of catecholic groups per polymer molecule is equal to or less than 1 in case of the first polymer and greater than 1 in case of the further polymer.

The present invention provides a product and a manufacturing process for an aqueous dispersible dendritic polymer with various functionalities, and polymer compositions and polymer formulations comprising such a dendritic polymer. The aqueous dispersible dendritic polymer composition comprises a hydrophilic functional group to allow dispersion in aqueous solvents and improve washability of the polymer, a low surface tension functional group to impart resistance to dirt pick-up and optionally, a curable functional group to allow superior cross-linking capabilities and optionally, a softening functional group to impart flexibility to the composition.

The present disclosure describes a strategy to create self-healing, slippery self-lubricating polymers. Lubricating liquids with affinities to polymers can be utilized to get absorbed within the polymer and form a lubricant layer (of the lubricating liquid) on the polymer. The lubricant layer can repel a wide range of materials, including simple and complex fluids (water, hydrocarbons, crude oil and bodily fluids), restore liquid-repellency after physical damage, and resist ice, microorganisms and insects adhesion. Some exemplary applications where self-lubricating polymers will be useful include energy-efficient, friction-reduction fluid handling and transportation, medical devices, anti-icing, optical sensing, and as self-cleaning, and anti-fouling materials operating in extreme environments.

The present invention relates to a polymer composition comprising: (i) one or more dendritic polymers; and (ii) a reactive diluent that is capable of being chemically coupled to the functional groups of the dendritic polymers, wherein when the dendritic polymer is coupled to the reactive diluent in the presence of a cross-linker, a polymerized solid is formed at high concentrations in a liquid medium. The present invention further relates to methods of preparing the polymer composition and its use in forming coatings.

The invention relates to coating agents comprising (a) at least one compound (A) containing hydroxyl groups, (b) at least one saturated compound (B) having free and/or blocked isocyanate groups comprising at least partially hydrolysable silane groups, and (c) at least one catalyst (D) for cross-linking silane groups, characterized in that the coating agent comprises at least one hyperbranched, dendritic hydroxy-functional polyester as the compound containing hydroxyl groups (A), wherein at least one hydroxyl function of the polyester is esterified by at least one acid selected from the group of isomers C8 to C9 monocarboxylic acids. The present invention further relates to a multistage coating method using said coating agent and to the use of the coating agent as a clear varnish for producing multilayer paint coatings producing effects and/or coloring, and to the use of the coating method for series painting and repair painting of automobiles.
