Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin sliding member capable of preventing a rise of friction coefficient in steady abrasion in spite that it is excellent in abrasion resistance.SOLUTION: A resin sliding member 1 includes calcium fluoride 5 dispersed in PEEK resin 4. The strength peak of (111) plane of the calcium fluoride 5 exposed to a sliding surface is made larger than the strength peak of (220) plane thereof, whereby many cleavage planes of (111) plane are caused to exist on the surface of the calcium fluoride 5 exposed to the sliding surface. Thus, when the calcium fluoride 5 exposed to the sliding surface of the resin sliding member 1 comes into contact with a counter shaft in steady abrasion, the calcium fluoride 5 causes minute shear (cleavage) on the cleavage surfaces, whereby the rise of friction coefficient can be suppressed.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold-rolled steel sheet having an excellent mold-galling property even if used as a hard-to-mold material such as a high-strength steel sheet the surface pressure of which is increased when press-molded.SOLUTION: The surface of the cold-rolled steel sheet has an organic/inorganic composite film containing an organic resin and a crystalline layered substance. The organic/inorganic composite film has a 0.10-2.0 μm average thickness and contains a ≥0.5 parts weight solid content of the crystalline layered substance based on a 100 parts weight solid content of the organic resin. The crystalline layered substance is, for example, a layered double hydroxide shown by [MM(OH)][A]-zHO (where Mis preferably one or two or more of Mg, Ca, Fe, Niand Zn; Mis preferably one or two or more of Al, Feand Cr; Ais preferably one or two or more of OH, CO, Cland (SO)).

Abstract: A grease composition for constant velocity joints comprises the following components: (a) a base oil; (b) a diurea type thickening agent; (c) a molybdenum sulfurized dialkyl dithiocarbamate; (d) molybdenum disulfide; (e) at least one sulfur-phosphorus-containing extreme-pressure agent selected from the group consisting of zinc dithiophosphate compounds and thiophosphates; and (f) a fatty acid amide. The grease composition of the present invention has a high ability of reducing the induced thrust force and is excellent in the durability.

Abstract: A grease composition for a constant velocity joint containing a base oil, a thickener, boron nitride powders, and a sulfur-phosphorus containing extreme pressure agent. The content of the thickener is 2 to 25 weight %, that of the boron nitride powders is 0.5 to 20 weight %, and that of the sulfur phosphorus containing extreme pressure agent is 0.1 to 10 weight %, each based on a total weight of the grease composition. The grease composition exhibits superior anti-flaking performance and can prolong the life time of a constant velocity joint.

Abstract: A resin composition which exhibits good sealability while keeping creep deformation to a minimum when brought into sliding contact with a mating member at a high contact pressure of over 10 MPa, and which will not damage a mating member made from an aluminum alloy while sliding in contact with lubricating oil. The resin composition is a pressure-resistant, sliding tetrafluoroethylene resin composition containing 100 parts by volume of a modified tetrafluoroethylene resin in the form of a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and partially modified tetrafluoroethylene, 5-40 parts by volume of carbon fiber, and 2-30 parts by volume of calcium sulfate whiskers having a Mohs hardness of 4 or less, and having, at 100° C., a maximum deformation rate in 24 hours, of 15% or less. A seal device to be brought into slide contact with an aluminum metal is molded from such a pressure-resistant, sliding tetrafluoroethylene resin composition.

Abstract: Waterborne lubricants comprising: (A) water-soluble inorganic salt; (B) homogeneously dispersed solid lubricant; (C) at least one homogeneously emulsified substance selected from mineral oils, animal and plant oils and fats, and synthetic oils; (D) surfactant; and (E) water, in which the weight ratio (B)/(A) is from 0.05:1 to 2:1 and the weight ratio {C/(A + B)} is from 0.05:1 to 1:1, provide a one-step, highly lubricating waterborne lubricant for use in the cold plastic working of metals. This waterborne lubricant can replace the conversion coating treatment (phosphate, oxalate, etc.) + reactive soap treatment combined lubrication system now in general use and is free of the environmental issues associated with the combined lubrication system, provides for facile coating removal, and is not subject to the decline in seizure resistance caused by nonuniform add-on when large numbers of workpieces are treated together by immersion.
