Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, since the conventional Web browsing is pull information communication, it requires a keyboard operation to request for information and is inferior in portability and can not provide any information based on the status of the other end of communication. SOLUTION: Each of persons uses one of telephones including mobile telephones, a computer that can connect with a public Internet network, and communication means intervening therebetween, while a server for performing push information communication on the network with the dedicated software complemented in each of those devices is used to cause any information that is selected and outputted by one end at any timing to be automatically displayed and reproduced on a monitor of the other end during conversation, thereby achieving means that provides audio-visual information in accordance with the development in conversation. This can achieve functions, which include an operation support function, a presentation function, a conversation support function using visual information, a theme provision characteristic, portability and the like, and further can provide various services, such as personal identification and the like, by automatically displaying, on the screen of each end of telephone conversation, a result from processing sound as input data. Abstract:
An information-processing apparatus operated by a user to carry out communications through a network transmits user-disclosure information to an other information-processing apparatus. The user-disclosure information includes a number of other users utilizing the information-processing apparatus. The apparatus also receives user-disclosure information for the other apparatus and controls a process to display the other user-disclosure information. The apparatus produces a determination result indicating that a requested connection to the other information-processing apparatus is authorized or not authorized by the other information-processing apparatus based on a response received from the other information-processing apparatus. The response is based on the transmitted user-disclosure information. The apparatus is also configured to transmit image and voice data to the other information-processing apparatus and receive image and voice data from the other information-processing apparatus in case the determination result indicates that a connection with the other information-processing apparatus is authorized by the other information-processing apparatus.

At least one example embodiment discloses terminals including at least one alterable function key and a display to display in proximity to the key an indication relating to the function of this key, which includes indicating to a communication server which types of indication the terminal is able to display in proximity to this key, sending, from the server to the terminal, information defining at least one KPML command that the server is capable of receiving and that it is capable of executing and information defining at least one indication associated with the command and which must be displayed on the terminal, in proximity to an adaptable function key depending on a telephone state of an active communication.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, method and program for managing applications on remote communication devices, such as, cellular telephones on a wireless communications network.SOLUTION: A server 112 on a wireless network 100 stores application threshold event data and manages communication device resident applications through device interaction, such as limiting access to server-side applications, updating the application, or recording the occurrence of a threshold event for other application uses.
