PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a device and the like capable of effectively distributing data on update.SOLUTION: A terminal device 100 capable of communicating with a distribution device 200 for distributing data on update of software through an electric communication line 300 comprises: a terminal storage part 120 for storing data on software in a file format; a terminal communication part 130 for performing communication with the distribution device 200; a configuration data creation part 113 for creating data on file configuration of software stored by the terminal storage part 120; a difference data creation part 112 for comparing data on the latest file configuration of software transmitted from the distribution device 200 with data on the file configuration created by the configuration data creation part 113 and creates difference data; and a file processing part 111 for performing update processing on the basis of a file in which a file of difference from a file of software stored by the terminal storage part 120 that is transmitted from the distribution device 200 is archived.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a project management system or the like allowing high-accuracy derivation of an influence degree related to a specification change or the like. SOLUTION: This project management system includes: a traceability model storage means 20C previously storing relation between specifications as traceability model data in a plurality of products inside a project described with the specifications based on a previously defined configuration; an influence range specification processing means 10B specifying a range of specifications on the downstream side affected by a change of a certain specification inside the project based on the traceability model data; and an influence degree calculation processing means 10C calculating the influence degree related to the change based on the range of the specifications specified by the influence range specification processing means 10B. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and highly reliably perform the broadcast distribution of data. SOLUTION: Retransmission control is attained under the initiative of a client concerning one-to-many data distribution by broadcast (multicast). That is, the attribute of data to be distributed is previously reported to a client terminal from a file server 4d, the client terminal determines the presence/absence of a missing data block based on the attribute, and then, a retransmission request is outputted to the file server 4d at an appropriate timing. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave frequency converter to be used in a radar receiver capable of receiving a signal continuously from a far position to a close position. SOLUTION: A first microwave signal (an RF signal) which is input to a limiter 20 and is pulse-modulated is input to an FET amplifier 40 so as to be amplified. An output of the FET amplifier 40 is input to a first mixer. A second RF signal obtained in such a manner that a branch circuit 23 is connected to a gate bias channel of the FET amplifier 40 so as to generate a leakage, is applied to a second single mixer 24. An output from a local oscillator 26 is applied to local oscillation terminals of both the mixers 24, 25. An IF output of the first mixer 25 is applied to a first IF amplifier 29. An IF output of the second mixer 24 is directly applied to a second IF amplifier 31. After amplitudes of the IF amplifiers 29, 31 are adequately tuned, the outputs are detected and added by a detection/addition circuit 32 so as to be output therefrom, and an image of the added result is displayed on a radar display device. SOLUTION: When the data of shared data sets 24a, 24b, etc. stored in an external storage device 23 connected to a plurality of computers is updated, a common program 32 for exclusive control for applying general ENQ/DEQ control to each computer is loaded, and the common program 32 for exclusive control is executed while specifying application program names for exclusive control and shared data set names for exclusive control by JCL 31a and 31b for program execution. The common program 32 for exclusive control implements exclusive control when the application programs specified by JCL 31a and 31b for program execution update the data of the shared data sets. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of all processings using a computer in transmitting compressed data by a run length method between computers different in a character code system. SOLUTION: This compression/decompression system is composed of a transmission side computer 10 and a reception side computer 20. The transmission side computer 10 is provided with a compression processing part 12 for compressing data to be transmitted by the run length method, and a transmission part 16 for transmitting the compressed data to the reception side computer 20. The reception side computer 20 is provided with a reception part 22 for receiving the transmitted data, a character code conversion processing part 24 for converting the data format of the received data into the data format recognizable by the reception side computer 20, and a decompression processing part 26 for decompressing the part compressed by the run length method among the data converted in data format.
