    Abstract: An articulated clamp connector (1) for interconnecting pipes, cables, etc. (20) preferably subsea, where the interconnecting ends of the pipes are provided with connecting flanges (17) with outer conical surfaces which interact with opposite surfaces of the clamp. When joining, the connecting flanges (17) are pressed against each other and provide a metal seal between the flanges. The clamp coupling (1) comprises a set of outer articulated clamp halves (25) for placing round the joining flanges (17), and a first tightening bolt (7) for closing the outer clamp halves round the joining flange. Further, the clamp coupling comprises a split activating ring (26) slideably arranged inside the outer clamp halves (25), a second tightening bolt (10) arranged for tangential movement of the split activating ring (26), a number of spring elements (13) arranged between the split activating ring (26) and locking segments (14). These spring elements are placed in grooves (27, 15), respectively in the inner part of the split activating ring (26) and the outer part of the locking segments (14). Tangential movement of the split activating ring (26) when tightening the second tightening bolt (10), thus produces radial movement of the locking segments (14) and the inner coned surfaces of the locking segments press the joining flanges (17) together. Thus, an even distribution of pretension around the joining flanges (17) is achieved which initiates and maintains pretension in the metal sealing connection (21).

The end section on the first pipeline is provided with a socket-like termination with a front end, which is provided with means (17) for coupling of the terminator (8) to complementary pipe coupling means (29) on the second pipeline (19). The terminator (8) is provided with a laterally directed, longitudinally shaped anchor element (10), and the manifold frame (22) is provided with receiving means (24) for receipt and fixation of the anchor element (10). The anchor element (10) and the receiving means (24) are such dimensioned and positioned that when the anchor element (10) is placed in position in the receiving means, the coupling means (17) of the terminator (8) will be positioned straight in front of the complementary coupling means (20) on the second pipeline (19).

    Abstract: An arrangement and a method for use in installation procedures for subsea transformers. A central, hole or tube is included in an encapsulation enclosing a transformer that is to be installed. Three core elements of the transformer are arranged symmetrically around the hole or tube forming a triangle or a delta. The transformer is lowered towards a a foundation placed on the sea floor wherein a guide pin is mounted. When the transformer has found its way to the foundation, the guide pin will enter the tube, and the transformer will slide down onto the guide line pin. The tube is terminated by a funnel shaped opening, thus making it easier not to miss the guide pin by the tube opening. The transformer is horizontally oriented by means of orientation keys localized within the tube.

    Abstract: A flexible, polymer, composite tube (1) adapted for transport of fluids such as hydrocarbons, e.g. oil and/or gas, and flexible enough to be coiled with a curvature radius as short as approximately 20 times its outer diameter. The flexible riser (1) comprises the following structural elements: an inner lin er (2) of thermoplastic material, an intermediate reinforced, polymer, multi layer component (3), and an outer thermoplastic liner (4). The inner liner ( 2) is continuously bonded to the intermediate, multi layer component (3), which again is continuously bonded to the outer liner (4). A method for manufacturing the flexible tube (1) by welding or gluing is also described.
