    Abstract: High voltage tolerant electrical overstress protection with low leakage current and low capacitance is provided. In one embodiment, a semiconductor die includes a signal pad, an internal circuit electrically connected to the signal pad, a power clamp electrically connected to an isolated node, and one or more isolation blocking voltage devices electrically connected between the signal pad and the isolated node. The one or more isolation blocking voltage devices are operable to isolate the signal pad from a capacitance of the power clamp. In another embodiment, a semiconductor die includes a signal pad, a ground pad, a high voltage/high speed internal circuit electrically connected to the signal pad, and a first thyristor and a second thyristor between the signal pad and the ground pad.

    Abstract: A wireless communication system includes a network manager configured to wirelessly communicate with a plurality of wireless nodes of a wireless network. The network manager and at least one wireless node include a transceiver connected to transmit and receive wireless communication via an antenna.     Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for fluid sensing system are disclosed. The method can include providing a first portion of a sample fluid in a sensing channel, holding the first portion of the sample fluid in the sensing channel for a first diffusion period, after the first diffusion period, providing a second portion of the sample fluid in the sensing channel, holding the second portion of the sample fluid in the sensing channel for a second diffusion period, and after the second diffusion period, sensing the second portion of the sample fluid in the sensing channel by a sensing element. Providing pulses of sample with intervening diffusion periods can produce more uniform analyte concentration across sensors with less overall volume of sample fluid.

    Abstract: Impedance paths for integrated circuits having microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) switches that allow for electrical charge to bleed from circuit nodes to fixed electric potentials (e.g., ground) are described. Such paths are referred to herein as charge bleed circuits. The circuit nodes may be circuit locations where electrical charge may accumulate because there is no other path for the electrical charge to dissipate. In some embodiments, a charge bleed circuit includes a switchable device (e.g., a MEMS switch, a solid-state device switch, or a circuit including various solid-state device switches that, collectively, implement a device that can be switched on and off) that connects and disconnects the impedance path from a circuit node. This may allow the device to perform different types of measurements at desired performance levels.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a magnetoresistive quadrant detector for use in a magnetic sensing device comprising a magnetic multi-turn sensor and an angle turn sensor, in particular, an angle sensor configured to provide 180° absolute angle measurements, such as an anisotropic magnetoresistive (AMR) angle sensor. The quadrant detector is formed of at least two magnetoresistive elements, preferably giant magnetoresistive (GMR) elements, which may be integrated to the multi-turn sensor die or provided on a separate die within the sensor package. The magnetoresistive elements are configured to provide a unique combination of resistance states for each quadrant of magnetic field direction. This quadrant information can then be used to remedy any ambiguities in the multi-turn measurement without needing 360° absolute angle information from the single turn angle sensor.

    Abstract: The disclosure provides different time of flight, ToF, methods and systems for using two or more non-sinusoidal control signals to achieve modulated output light and/or image sensor control with reduced harmonic content. In particular, the two or more non-sinusoidal control signals have different relative phase offsets or duty cycle ratios such that a combined signal resulting from combing the two or more control signals has reduced harmonic content. By utilising non-sinusoidal signals and effectively making using of the combined signal for the output light and/or image sensor control, the system is more straightforward and lower cost to implement compared with systems that use sinusoidal control signals, whilst still maintaining accuracy of the system by minimising the harmonic noise normally associated with non-sinusoidal signals.
