Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase suction force usable between a tool and a beam by putting at least one among plural chambers in a vacuum state, and connecting this to the rear of the tool through a duct. CONSTITUTION: A platen press for cutting, creasing or embossing sheet-like materials, has a lower movable beam 2 to support a sheet 4 and an upper fixed beam 1 to which a tool 3 is fitted. Plural chambers 18a, 18b are arranged inside the upper fixed beam 1 to prevent bending of the tool 3 in a work position. Among these chambers 18a, 18b, one end of one chamber 18b is connected to a vacuum pump so that the other end is connected to the rear surface of the tool 3 through a duct 23 to press the tool 3 to the upper beam 1 by the sucking action.

PURPOSE: To prevent the deviation of a sheet to the longitudinal direction and lateral direction by a quick operation by providing a means which can adjust the vertical position of a drive roller so that a frame is requested by the thickness of the sheet. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal frame consisting of two side beams 200, 201 connected with each other by a lateral rod 202 is provided and lateral direction shafts 230 having a drive roller 240 are arranged between the side beams 200, 201. These drive rollers 240 are arranged so that the lower part of these peripheral projections jump out from the surface formed by a lower plate 260 having plural holes and these plural holes are machined so as to leave a slight clearance on the entire periphery of the projection of the drive roller 240. A hood 300 is installed on the upperside of the horizontal frame so as to form a vacuum, and the sheet 130 is held for the projection of the drive roller 240.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent an offset load and simplify constitution by elevatingly providing a rotating tray having a carrier ball at the center of a carrier ball table to drive a carrier ball by a rectilinear moving means, in a blank device piled with cut thick paper, etc. CONSTITUTION: A cutting sheet piled body for thick papers, etc., is sent to a transferring and orientating device 1, and a front edge is detected by photocells 7 and 8; consequently endless belts 22 and 23 are driven by a corresponding moving distance calculated from the dimension of the piled body to rotate a carrier ball 18 to position the piled body at the center of a rotating tray 2. Then the tray 2 is rotated 45 deg. by a motor 27 when the piled body has a dimension within that of the tray 2, consequently the piled body converts its direction by 90 deg. by the relative rotation between the ball 18 and the tray 2. At the time without the tray dimension, the tray 2 is elevated by a jack 82 to be rotated 90 deg., and then lowered to convert a direction. Transferred and orientation are thus possible by simple constitution without an offset load.
Abstract:
A device for feeding blanks from a pile into an infeed arrangement for a blank processing machine, such as a folder or gluer, characterized by a frame having a plurality of conveyor units with an arrangement for laterally positioning the units in the frame depending on the width of the blank being processed, an arrangement for driving each of the units utilizing a single drive shaft and an arrangement for driving each of the conveyor units for a selected period of time during each feed cycle.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that prints Braille characters on the cardboard blank that moves in the folder gluer, and can print the Braille message at an arbitrary location of the blank and more in detail a near location to the edge or the crease of the blank.SOLUTION: The device for printing Braille characters on cardboard blanks travelling in a folder-gluer along a substantially planar path (F) includes rotary embossing tools (5, 6). These tools (5, 6) are supported by two respective parallel shafts (7, 8) rotatably mounted above and below of the plane of the path (F) and operable for printing the Braille characters on the blanks during their run through the folder-gluer.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer printing a Braille character on a thick paper blank moving in the inside of a folder-gluer, the printer capable of printing the Braille character on an arbitrary position of the blank, particularly on the position near to a margin or a folding line of the blank. SOLUTION: The printer printing the Braille character on the thick paper blank moving in the inside of the folder-gluer along a substantially flat conveyance path (F) has rotary embossing tools (5 and 6) that are supported by two flat shafts (7 and 8) rotatably attached to the upside and downside of the flat surface of the conveyance path (F) respectively, and that enable the Braille character to be printed on the thick paper while the thick paper runs through the folder-gluer. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of error in alignment completely between various work performed for a thin and flat article at a continuous station of a processing machine. SOLUTION: In this method for positioning the thin and flat article 10 in the processing machine 1, the processing machine 1 has an insertion machine 20 for positioning the thin and flat article in a plurality of gripper members 31 belonging to a conveyor 30 for pulling out the thin and flat articles 10 in a noncontinuous manner through continuous stations 3, 4, 5. This method comprises a stage for calculating change of positioning distance of the gripper members 31 for a reference position, a stage for allotting these changes to respective gripper members 31, and a stage for incorporating the changes into first procedures for a controller 4 to improve positioning of the thin and flat article 10 in the gripper members 31 concerning each gripper member 31. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punching machine which increases occupation volume of a feeder of a binder sheet while keeping necessary space as large as that of a conventional machine punching and separating a blank. SOLUTION: The punching machine to punch the blank of a sheet such as paper, paste board and the like has a punching portion (5), a sheet feeding portion (3), a feeder (5), a disused object removing portion (6), a separating and delivering portion of the blank (7), and a binder sheet inserting station (9) inserting the binder sheet (8) from a pile of the binder sheets (8) between the blanks (7) when the binder sheets are piled. The machine further has a feeding chamber (10) which occupies the space between an absorbing station (11) and a machine base and receives the pile of the binder sheets (8), and a lifting mechanism (12) which lifts the pile of the binder sheets (8) when the binder sheet (8) is inserted between the piled blanks (7).
