PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new appliance for cooking food under pressure which presents a lid opening system that is particularly safe during use, but is also configured particularly for long-term reliability and particularly for simplified operation.SOLUTION: An appliance for cooking food under pressure comprises: a vessel and a lid; a control member for controlling locking/unlocking of the lid on the vessel; safety lid opening means (20) for sensing a pressure; and clutch disconnection means (30) which is associated with the control member to allow the control member to move to the unlocking position without causing the control member to allow unlocking. In the appliance, when the control member occupies the unlocking position and the safety lid opening means (20) is in its actuation position, the clutch disconnection means (30) disconnect the driving connection between the control member and the locking mechanism.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baguette preparation method for a bread baking apparatus with a small output.SOLUTION: A method for preparing dough lump using a bread baking apparatus (40) including a baking space (45) capable of housing a baking pot on one occasion or at least a single dough lump baking support (1) on another occasion and a single heating unit inside the baking space (45) for baking singly. The method includes a mixing-kneading step processed inside the pot, a dough swelling step inside the baking space (45), and a dough lump molding step by handwork outside the bread baking apparatus (40). Further the method includes a dough lump swelling step with a continuing time of more than 15 minutes in the support (1) placed inside the baking space (45), and a dough lump baking step with a continuing time of less than one hour in the support (1) placed inside the space.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking appliance configured to drain a liquid discharged during cooking to the outside of a cooking griddle without generating smoke or without lowering the thermal performance of the cooking appliance.SOLUTION: The cooking appliance (1) has: a base (2); a bowl (3) removably carried by the base (2), including an upper opening (16), and adapted to receive the liquid; the cooking griddle (4) having at least one draining groove (23) for the liquid discharged during cooking; an electrical resistance (6) disposed under the cooking griddle (4); and a thermal reflector (7) disposed under the electrical resistance (6). The electrical resistance (6) and the thermal reflector (7) are removably disposed in the bowl (3), and all of the drain grooves (24) are disposed so that the liquid discharged during cooking falls in the bowl (3) without making contact with the electrical resistance (6) or thermal reflector (7).

SOLUTION: The he gripping knob (1) includes a base (2) fixed to the lid cover of a cooking container and to delimit a steam evacuation channel with the cover, and a gripping member (3) rotatively mounted around the base (2) along a rotation axis (4) in an angular steam controlling range delimited by two extreme angular controling positions, so as to block an outlet of the channel based on its angular position in the range. SOLUTION: The household appliance for cooking foods under a pressure includes the safety valve (2) attached for controlling an excess pressure in the inside. The safety valve (2) has a main body (3) equipped with a sheet (4) and a valve member (5), and the sheet (4) and/or the valve member (5) includes at least a part which forms a contact area and is made of a material showing sufficient impermeability, flexibility, and shape-memory properties. When the valve member (5) enters a position for stopping leakage and abuts on the sheet (4) in the contact area, the material assures the leakproof properties for the valve (2) in the contact area.
