Abstract:
For the purposes of the smooth and rapid checking out especially even of damaged goods labels, a process for the checking out of goods is proposed in which the data concerning them are automatically, and preferably also manually in the event of faulty checking, entered in the check-out device. In addition, at least two devices for implementing the process are described which have a goods check-out device with both an automatic scanning device and a manually operable input console. One of these devices also makes it possible to relieve and reduce the number of the service staff.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a modular operator unit (1), particularly for use with a cash register, with a block (2) comprising a display unit (10) and/or at least one keyboard (12, 14) and/or a swipe-through magnetic card reader (16), which block has a cable channel (5) running through it on the inside. Said operator unit is characterized in that a peripheral apparatus (3, 4) which can be inclined around a horizontal and/or vertical axis is flange-mounted to a side-wall (20, 20') of the block (2) and that the cable channel (5) is continued in the peripheral apparatus (3, 4).
Abstract:
A banknote container (10) which can be inserted into a reception module with a front panel actuated by an actuating lever (20) and a catch lever (28) which can be moved between a release position, a first intermediate position in which the catch lever (28) is dependent on the opening movement of the actuating lever (20) and a lock position wherein the catch lever (28) holds the actuating lever (20) firmly in a closed position. Catch lever (28) is coupled to an electromechanical control device (58). Upon insertion of banknote container (10) said control device enables catch lever (28) to be moved into a mechanically engaged second intermediate position. Catch lever (28) can be moved out of a second intermediate position into a release position dependent on the closed position of actuating lever (20).
Abstract:
The invention relates to separating means for individual withdrawal of value papers, in particular bank notes (22), from a pile (12) of sheets arranged in a magazine (10), by means of conveyor rollers (34) driveable in the direction of withdrawal and retaining rollers (36) driveable in the contrary direction to said conveyor rollers (34), which form with each other a separation gap (42). The width of the separation gap (42) can be set by an adjustment drive (74) controlled by programmable control means (80).
Abstract:
By moving the printing head (1) of a printing mechanism to a position outside the printing area, a paper stop (5) is pivoted into the paper transport path (7) and, as a result of the lowering of the printing head (1), a gap is opened up between the printing head (1) and printing abutment (6) and between the paper rolls (30, 36, 4a, 4b), the coupling of the printing head with the paper rolls in relation to the lowering movement simultaneously effecting adjustment of the printing head gap.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for preparing and applying labels and to a method of operating said device. The device comprises three parts: a roller conveyor track (14); a label dispenser (12); and a label manipulator (16). The latter can pick up a label deposited from the label dispenser (12) on the roller conveyor track (14) and stick it at a predetermined point onto an object (26) arranged in any desired way in a three-dimensional space.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a method and device for the final assembly of a computer keyboard in which all the key bodies (5) of the keyboard are injection-moulded in the predetermined keyboard arrangement in a common injection-moulding process. A removal device (2) comprising a plurality of suction heads (7) then sucks up and removes the key bodies, which project out of the ejector part (6) when the injection-moulding die is opened, at the upper side of the key caps. The connection channels, which remain between the individual key bodies in the region of the lower edge of the caps for material flow purposes, are separated. Finally, the key bodies held by the removal device (2) are lowered onto a prepared keyboard housing (4) where they are inserted in the correct positions in the respective associated key guides (11).
Abstract:
The invention concerns a system for dispensing sheet material, in particular bank notes and the like, from one of two sheet compartments to a collecting station, each compartment having a delivery roller which is driven by a stepping motor, is associated with a sheet compartment and acts on the first sheet of each stack. Each sheet drawn off is fed to a conveyor roller which is driven by a stepping motor and is also associated with the sheet compartment. The conveyor roller feeds the sheet to a dispensing conveyor common to both sheet compartments. The system is driven by two stepping motors which can be driven in opposite senses when a sheet is dispensed from a compartment, so that in each case one delivery roller is driven in the first sense of rotation and the conveyor roller of the other sheet compartment is driven in the second sense of rotation.
Abstract:
With hard-disk storage systems comprising coupled hard disks and additional replacement disks and forming RAID systems, the said replacement disks are not, unlike so-called "hot spares", in constant use but are started up at predetermined intervals for limited periods in order to check operating capability. In the event of an error, less worn hard disks are available which improves operational reliability.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a device including an insulating support plate with conducting surfaces between bus bars, the suppport plate projecting beyond the bus bars in the transverse direction and filter condensors connected to the conducting surfaces being mounted on the projecting part.
