Abstract:
PURPOSE: A radar for being equipped to weapon system on the ground and a method for suppressing frequency interference between adjacent radars using the same radar are provided to prevent fundamentally the frequency Interference between radars by processing a signal by receiving the coded signal in the pulse phase coding scheme and decoding the received signal. CONSTITUTION: A pseudo noise code generator(301) codes a transmitted signal, and generates a code corresponding to the specific phase of the transmission signal. A frequency synthesizer(302) generates an RF frequency for the up-converting of the transmission signal and an intermediate frequency for the down-conversion of the received signal. A transmitter(303) changes the transmission signal into the radio frequency signal. A phase shifter(304) is inputted with the PN code and the radio frequency signal. The phase of the radio frequency signal is varied according to the PN code. A digital signal processor(309) implements the signal processing algorithm through the restored signal. A target is detected.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for suppressing a frequency intervention between adjacent channels of a radar are provided to improve the directionality of the radar by restricting a bandwidth of a transmitted pulse. A pulse generator(100) generates a pulse signal and includes first and second filters, a switching unit and a mixer. The first filter(10) filters out an output signal from a frequency synthesizer and removes noises from the output signal. The switching unit(20) is periodically turned on/off and generates a pulse from a pulse Doppler radar. The second filter(30) filters out an intermediate frequency, and the intermediate frequency and a local frequency are inputted to the mixer(40). A pulse shaping circuit(50) receives up-converted pulse signals and adjusts a bandwidth of the pulse signal, such that frequency interference is suppressed between adjusts channels.

PURPOSE: A method for transceiving emergent data by using a slot removing-type protocol is provided to transmit periodic data in ordinary times and to transmit emergent data as removing a slot in an emergency. CONSTITUTION: When a subscriber terminal is powered on(1), a system sets a reference timer(2), and decides whether a slot starts(3). If so, the system initializes a slot timer(5). If a subscriber is in an emergency(6), the system informs other subscribers of the emergency(7). If the subscriber is not in the emergency, the system decides whether the slot timer is bigger than an RF delay time(8). If so, the system delays time(10), and checks an RF signal(11). If the RF signal is generated less than 4 times, the system confirms a current slot(12), and decides whether the current slot is assigned to the subscriber(13). If so, the system transmits periodic data in a general transmission mode(14).
