PURPOSE: An Ixeris polycephala Cassini extract, and urs-12-ene and olean-12-en-3-ol isolated from the extract are provided to ensure excellent antibacterial activity against gram-negative bacteria, gram-positive bacteria, or helicobacter pylori, and to be used as an antibacterial composition and a therapeutic agent for treating disease caused by bacteria. CONSTITUTION: An antibacterial pharmaceutical composition contains an Ixeris polycephala Cassini extract as an active ingredient. The extract is prepared using water, C1-C4 alcohols, or a mixture thereof. The extract has antibacterial activity against one or more microbes selected from the group consisting of helicobacter pylori, Staphylococcus aureus, and E.coli. The antibacterial pharmaceutical composition contains one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of chemical formulas 1 and 2, as active ingredients. The compounds are isolated from the extract.

PURPOSE: An antimicrobial composition including sedum sarmentosum extracts is provided to improve antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli and staphylococcus aureus. CONSTITUTION: An antimicrobial composition including sedum sarmentosum extracts includes sedum sarmentosum extracts as active ingredients. The Sedum sarmentosum extract is extracted as alcohol having 1-4 carbons or a mixed solvent thereof. The sedum sarmentosum extracts have antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli and staphylococcus aureus. A pharmaceutical composition for antibiotic includes beta-sitosterol as an active ingredient. The beta-sitosterol is obtained from sedum sarmentosum.

CONSTITUTION: A prevention or treatment composition for diabetic complication includes sedum sarmentosum bunge extracts as an active ingredient. The Sedum sarmentosum Bunge extracts has the aldose reductase inhibitory activity. The diabetic complication disease is artery scleroma, hypertension, intracerbroventricular infarction, stroke, myocardial infarction, angina, nephropathy, neuropathy, diabetic retinopathy, cataract, or glaucoma. A prevention and for treating health food of the diabetic complication includes the Sedum sarmentosum Bunge extracts as an active ingredient. The Sedum sarmentosum Bunge extract can be obtained by extracting and vacuum evaporating alcohol, ethyl acetate, chloroform, methyl ethyl ketone, acetone, methylene chloride, or ether solvent.

PURPOSE: A method for preventing oak wilt is provided to block going out of Platypus koryoensis imago from the oak tree and effectively prevent spread of oak wilt to surrounding oak trees. CONSTITUTION: A method for preventing oak wilt comprises: a step of forming a coating layer around stem surface of lower part of oak tree; and a step of forming adhesion layer on the coating layer. The coating layer is formed with a paint containing water-soluble resin of vinyl resin, phenol resin, urea resin, melamine resin, cellulose derivative or alkyd resin. The adhesive layer comprises a first adhesive layer of sticky liquid for capturing insects and a second adhesive layer of 15-20 cm. The sticky liquid for capturing insects contains 60-77 weight% of pine tree resin, 8-15 weight% of latex, and 15-22 weight% of light oil.
