CONSTITUTION: A compound containing 5-membered heterocycle is represented by chemical formula (1). An organic electric device is an organic electroluminescence device including a first electrode, a mono- or multi-layered organic material layer and a second electrode. The organic material layer comprises a light emitting layer. The compound is used as a host material in the light emitting layer.
