Abstract: A method for controlling an image in a portable terminal is provided to enable a message sender to send a facial expression photo which expresses a current emotion of the message sender in a message transmission mode. A method for controlling an image in a portable terminal comprises the following several steps. A controller senses receipt of a message in a portable terminal(301).
