Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for transmitting and receiving data peer to peer are provided to minimize a load of a system according to a data security by using a symmetric key algorithm in a data transmission and reception process, and using an asymmetric key algorithm in an initial process sharing a session key. A method for transmitting and receiving data peer to peer includes the steps of: requesting a session key to be used in a session between predetermined devices(202); recovering the session key by decoding the encoded session key included in a response to the request(206); encoding the data by using the recovered session key(207); and transmitting the encoded data(208). The session key is requested by transmitting a request token including a public key to be used in encoding of the session key at the predetermined device in the step(202). The encoded session key through a public key is decoded by using a private key corresponding to the public key in the step(206).

A streaming service device using network switching and a method thereof are provided to reduce work load and a resource expense of a server, and enable a user to view an image in real-time by transmitting a high quality image data in a short time. A streaming server guarantees fast data transmission for a streaming service. A P2P(Peer-to-Peer) communication server reduces the server load in a server transmission process of a client(400). A network switch(410) switches between a streaming server mode and a P2P server communication mode during the streaming service. The network switch includes a playing state analyzing module(411) for analyzing a media playing state, a buffering state analyzing module(412) for analyzing a data buffering state, and a network controller for controlling connection to streaming server or P2P server communication depending on an analysis result by analyzing the state of both modules.

A device and a method for managing an operation state with an external storage device are provided to manage an operation of a digital device by automatically executing a management program in case of trouble generated from the digital device after storing the management program for performing the operation of the digital device to the external storage device. An external storage device recognizer(120) checks connection of the external storage device(200). A security key checker(130) checks a security key(220) stored in the connected external storage device to check whether the connected external storage device is a valid or invalid device. A management program executor(140) executes the management program by using files stored in the connected external storage device in the case of the valid external storage device. The management program is a program for diagnosing the state of the digital device(100), and updating or patching software.

본 발명은 DRM을 이용하여 A/V 기기에서 DVI(Digital Visual Interface) 또는 HDMI(High Definition Multimedia Interface) 출력단자를 통해 출력되는 A/V 신호를 인증하고 제어하기 위한 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 소스 디바이스는, 소스 디바이스에 관한 인증을 통해 DRM 컨텐츠에 포함되어 있는 암호화된 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 복호화하고, DRM(Digital Rights Management) 규칙으로부터 상기 소스 디바이스와 싱크 디바이스를 연결하는 디지털 A/V(Audio/Video) 채널의 제어를 위한 제어 명령으로 변환하는 DRM 모듈; 상기 제어 명령과, 상기 싱크 디바이스로부터 수신한 벤더 정보를 기반으로 미디어 디코더로부터 입력 받은 A/V 데이터에 대한 인증을 거쳐 그 인증 결과에 따라서 필터링된 A/V 데이터를 출력하는 입력 컨트롤러; 상기 필터링된 A/V 데이터를 화소 데이터와 실제 청취할 수 있는 오디오 데이터로 변환하는 입력 인터페이스; 및 상기 화소 데이터 및 오디오 데이터를 암호화하고, 암호화된 데이터를 고속 직렬 디지털 A/V 신호로 변환하여 상기 디지털 A/V 채널을 통해 싱크 디바이스로 송신하는 신호 송신기로 이루어진다. 본 발명에 따르면, 컨텐츠 제공업체의 정의에 따라 싱크 디바이스(디스플레이 기기)의 인증을 통해 비디오/오디오 데이터의 출력 방법을 DRM 서버에서 제어할 수 있다. PURPOSE: A method and a device for generating a serial number are provided to make the serial number having an available period for a constant time or making only an authorized specific user use a product. CONSTITUTION: A code generator(301) generates the code information based on the current time information and a random number. A condition information setting part(302) generates the condition information by receiving the basic information such as the information of an allowed user and an allowed available period for the product. An MAC information generator(303) receives the code information and the condition information, and generates the corresponding MAC information by using a Hash function. An encryption part(304) generates the serial number after encrypting the code information, the condition information, and the MAC information by using a password.

PURPOSE: A method for managing information in a database safely is provided to manage information in a database safely without depending on an encryption by coding information and checking whether code information has been hacked effectively. CONSTITUTION: A synchronization-information key-data stored in predetermined portions are combined and decoded(S501). A synchronization-information stored in predetermined portions is combined and decoded(S502). Synchronized information coded and stored in a hard disk of a user computer is decoded(S503). It is checked whether the information decoded in the above stages(S502,S503) is identified therewith(S504). If the information is identified therewith, an update of DRM(Digital Right Management) information is monitored(S508). New synchronized information and DRM information as important information is stored in a database(S509). The synchronized information stored in the database is coded(S510). Also, key-data of the coded synchronized information are coded(S511). The coded synchronized information and the key-data thereof are stored(S512). PURPOSE: A system and method for testing a quality is provided to check a plurality of personal mobile devices under one operator's control by constructing an automatic quality test program for integrally performing each stage in a product test process of a personal mobile device having a storing and reproducing functions of digital contents as an MP3 player and providing a method for remotely controlling each testing computer at a central server. CONSTITUTION: An operator may control testing computers(310a¯310n) simultaneously through a remote control command of a central server(300) on condition that a personal mobile device is connected to the testing computers(310a¯310n) through a serial cable or a parallel cable. The testing computers(310a¯310n) have an automatic quality test program and automatically perform consecutive personal mobile device control command. The control command to be used in the automatic quality test program may include basic control commands as a memory format command, a file download/upload command and a file deleting command. The central server(300) may have a function for selectively designating an individual control command, which controls a specific character of the personal mobile device.

A menu to transfer messages with other members, a menu to input an official announcement message for members, and a menu to take a vote on a given case are displayed(16). If information is inputted in the message transfer menu, it is displayed to an associated member.
