PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for transmitting/receiving an RCB(Rate Control Bit) in a mobile communication system are provided to reduce power of a base station required for the transmission of an reverse-RCB to increase a forward throughput. CONSTITUTION: An RCB generator(201) generates an RCB for controlling a data rate in transmitting reverse packet data of a mobile terminal. A spreading unit(202) spreads the RCB to output it through a radio channel. A transmission power controller(203) outputs a control signal demanding that the RCB should not be transmitted, when information that the data rate cannot be increased any higher is received from the mobile terminal.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for transmitting reverse packet data in a mobile communication system are provided to improve the reliability of ACK/NACK bits by controlling the Tx power of a response channel, on which ACK/NACK bits are transmitted. CONSTITUTION: A response signal transmitter is comprised of an error detection part(401), a spreader(402), a Tx power controller(403), an ACK/NACK transmitting part(404). The error detection part(401) receives packet data through a radio channel and detects an error from the received packet data. The error detection part(401) creates and outputs an ACK bit if an error is not detected, and creates and outputs an NACK bit if an error is detected. The spreader(402) receives the ACK or NACK bit and executes spreading in order to transmit it to the radio channel. The Tx power controller(403) controls and outputs the spread ACK or NACK bit with a power value corresponding to the data rate of a packet data channel. The ACK/NACK transmitting part(404) transmits the ACK or NACK bit, outputted from the Tx power controller(403), through the radio channel.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A device for transmitting reverse rate control information in a mobile communication system and a method therefor are provided to determine a position of rate control information of a terminal within a rate control channel in consideration of a starting point of a reverse packet, thereby reducing a processing delay time for controlling and quickly coping with a change of a reverse link state. CONSTITUTION: A controller(111) generates rate control information to be transmitted to each mobile terminal, and inputs the rate control information to multiplexers(112,113,114,115). The multiplexers(112,113,114,115) perform a data burst randomization for the inputted rate control information, and output the performed information to repetition units(121,122,123,124). The multiplexers(112,113,114,115) multiplex control information bit positions. Each repetition unit(121,122,123,124) repeats the received rate control information, and outputs the repeated information to a parallel/serial converter(125). The parallel/serial converter(125) converts the received information into serial control information. A multiplier multiplies channel gain values received from an offset calculation unit(141) by symbols, and outputs the symbols.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A device and a method for transceiving orthogonal code space indication information of a mobile communication system are provided to allow a base station to notify terminals with information on orthogonal codes usable in a data service. CONSTITUTION: A channel state decider(101) decides forward channel states of each terminal. A storage(102) stores information on a series of orthogonal codes provided by a base station. A controller(103) sequentially allocates the preset number of the series of orthogonal codes to the terminals orderly starting from the terminal having the poorest state. A channel transmitter(104) transmits information on indication of the last orthogonal code among the orthogonal codes allocated to each terminal to the terminals under control of the controller(103). And a power controller(105) controls power of the indication information transmitted to the terminals so that the terminals with poor channel states have high power.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for transmitting and receiving a packet data control channel in a communication system are provided to support transmission of a packet data channel in a TDM(Time Division Multiplexing)/CDM(Code Division Multiplexing) format. CONSTITUTION: Feedback information on a forward channel environment is received from each terminal(401). It is determined which user data are to be transmitted by using information required for scheduling such as feedback information or a resource of a base station(402). It is judged whether only TDM is used or both TDM and CDM are used for a packet data channel(403). If only TDM is used, packet data control information of a corresponding user is transmitted through the first packet data control channel. the packet data control channel is allocated by users on the basis of a CQICH(Reverse Channel Quality Indicator Channel) indicating a forward channel environment of corresponding users(405).

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for controlling a power of a reverse channel in a mobile communication system are provided to control a transmission power of a reverse CQICH(Channel Quality Indicator CHannel). CONSTITUTION: A sector receives a reverse CQICH and a reverse PICH(PIlot CHannel) transmitted from a terminal(401). The sector measures a reception power as to the reverse CQICH and the reverse PICH, and judges whether the corresponding CQICH is erased by using the reception power of the CQICH(402). The sector judges whether a current time interval is a time interval for transmitting a traffic to pilot control bit(403). If the current time interval is the time interval for transmitting the traffic to pilot control bit, the sector calculates a CQICH erasure rate of the corresponding terminal(404). The sector decides whether a CQICH reverse traffic to pilot ratio is increased or decreased by using the calculated CQICH erasure rate(405). If the CQICH erasure rate, which is greater than a desired CQICH erasure rate, is calculated, a base station punctures and inserts a command for increasing the CQICH reverse traffic to pilot ratio into a transmission position of a predetermined PCB(Power Control Bit), and transmits the PCB(406). If the CQICH erasure rate, which is lower than the desired CQICH erasure rate, is calculated, the base station punctures and inserts a command for decreasing the CQICH reverse traffic to pilot ratio into the transmission position of the predetermined PCB, and transmits the PCB(407).

PURPOSE: A method and a device for transceiving quality information of a forward channel in a mobile communication system are provided to transmit an absolute symbol in one pre-decided slot, and to transmit a relative symbol in residual slots, so as to reduce overhead and interference occurring in a reverse link and increase reverse traffic capacity. CONSTITUTION: A terminal measures a C/I(Carrier-to-Interference ratio) of a forward common pilot channel in a current slot(400). The measured C/I is stored(410). If the current slot is an absolute transmission slot(420), the terminal generates an absolute symbol indicating a level of the measured C/I(430). If the current slot is a relative transmission slot(420), the terminal compares a C/I of a previous slot with the C/I of the current slot(450). If the C/I of the current slot is larger, the terminal generates a relative symbol indicating the increase of C/I(470). If the C/I of the current slot is equal to the C/I of the previous slot, the terminal generates a relative symbol indicating the identical C/I(480). If the C/I of the current slot is smaller, the terminal generates a relative symbol indicating the reduction of C/I(490). And a CQI(Channel Quality Indicator) symbol generated in one step of the steps 430, 470, 480 and 490 is transmitted through a CQICH(Channel Quality Indicator Channel)(440).

본 발명은 전류 미러를 형성하고 있는 트랜지스터에 흐르는 전류의 양을 기준 전류와 동일하게 흐르게 하는 베이스 전류와 무관한 전류 미러를 갖는 정전류 절환 회로에 관한 것이다. 이를 위해 본 발명은 전원에 연결되어 다수의 서브 회로로 다수의 정전류를 공급하는 다수의 트랜지스터로 구성된 전류 미러를 포함하는 정전류 절환회로에 있어서, 기준 전압에 의해 기준 전류를 설정하는 전류 설정부, 및 상기 전류 설정부의 출력을 입력으로 일정한 전류를 생성하는 전류원 생성부를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 따라서, 본 발명은 전류원 설정시 베이스 전류와 전혀 관계없이 설정하므로써 전류 미러를 형성하고 있는 트랜지스터에 흐르는 전류의 양, 즉 전류의 비를 기준 전류와 동일하게 전류비대로 흐르게 할 수 있도록 하는 효과가 있다.

본 발명은 일정한 밴드갭(Bandgap) 기준 전압을 발생 및 유지시켜 주기 위한 밴드갭 기준 전압 발생 회로에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 전류 입력단에 일단이 연결되고 타단으로 기준 전압(Vref)이 출력되는 제1저항(R3), 상기 제1저항(R3)의 타단과 접지에 양단이 연결된 제2저항(R4), 및 상기 제1저항(R3)의 타단에 베이스가 각각 연결된 제1 및 제2npn트랜지스터(Q9, Q10)를 포함하여 구성되어 밴드갭 기준 전압을 발생하는 밴드갭 기준 전압 발생회로에 있어서, 상기 제1 및 제2 npn트랜지스터(Q9, Q10)의 베이스에 양단이 연결되어 공정 산포에 따른 베이스-에미터 전압(Vbe)의 변화를 보상하는 제2저항(R10)을 더 포함하여 구성된다. 따라서 본 발명은 공정 산포에 의한 전류 증폭율(β)을 저항에 의해 보상하므로써 퓨징이나 재핑의 필요성이 줄어들어 EDS 테스트 시간을 줄이고, 칩 크기를 줄임으로써 제조 원가를 줄일 수 있으며, 원하는 정확한 기준 전압(Reference Voltage)을 유지할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
