Abstract: PURPOSE: An optical scanning system of a printer is provided to suppress scanning error by generating synchronous signals for line scan initiation continuously. CONSTITUTION: An optical scanning system of a printer includes an optical scanning unit(50), a first optical detector(45), a second optical detector(47), and an optical scanning controller(60,70). The optical scanning unit(50) emits light along with a main scan direction crossing the direction of a rotating photosensitive belt(44) with a predetermined angle. The first optical detector(45) detects the emitted light from the optical scanning unit(50) at a position displaced from the photosensitive belt(44) with a predetermined spacing to an edge of the photosensitive belt. The second optical detector(47) detects the light from the optical scanning unit prior to the first optical detector. The optical scanning controller(60,70) controls the optical scanning unit so that the unit emits light corresponding to image information in the direction of the main scan direction.

Abstract: 광주사 시스템을 개시한다. 광원과, 광원에서 출사된 광빔의 스폿을 설정된 위치의 주사대상면위의 주사라인을 따라 주사하는 주사수단과, 주사대상면위의 주사라인을 따라 광빔 스폿에 의해 형성되는 화소들의 위치와 각 화소의 노광시간을 제어하되, 상기 화소들이 등 간격으로 위치되도록 상기 주사라인을 따라 변하는 광빔 스폿의 속도를 보상하여 상기 광빔 스폿의 출사간격을 가변시키고, 상기 각 화소의 노광시간도 이미지 데이터의 계조표현에 맞게 가변되도록 상기 광원의 구동을 제어하는 전자 제어장치를 구비한다. 이러한 광주사 시스템에 의하면 광주사 시스템에 의하면 주사대상면에 주사라인을 따라 설정된 위치마다 광스폿에 의한 주사정보가 화소 단위로 기입되고, 각 화소영역사이내에서 이미지 데이터에 담긴 계조정보에 대응하는 노광조절에 의해 고품질의 이미지를 재현시킬 수 있다.
