Abstract: 인터넷 팩스의 호 처리 장치 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명에 의한 인터넷 팩스의 호 처리 장치는, 복수의 호설정 방식들을 지원하여 호설정하는 호설정부, 지원되는 호설정 방식들에서 소정의 호설정 방식을 선택하여 호설정하도록 제어하는 제어부 및 선택된 호설정 방식에 의하여 수신처와 연결을 시도하는 연결부를 포함하고, 제어부는 시도된 결과에 따라 반복하여 다른 호설정 방식을 선택하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명에 의하면, 이렇게 함으로써 인터넷 팩스의 호환성을 높일 수 있어 인터넷 팩스 간에도 용이하게 통신을 할 수 있으며, 사용자에게 편리함을 제공하는 효과를 거둘 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus having a function of making out a document and a method of controlling the image forming apparatus are provided to easily form a document using a print form selected from a plurality of print forms stored in the image forming system. CONSTITUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a display(40), a storage unit(30), an input unit(10), a printing unit(50), and a controller(20). The storage unit stores at least one print form. The input unit has a form print key and keys for supporting input of characters and/or figures. The printing unit prints images on print paper. The controller receives a signal for selecting one of the print forms stored in the storage unit through the input unit to display field information for accepting user data with respect to the selected print form on the display. The controller controls the printing unit to print a document in the selected print form to which the user data has been inputted.
