The present invention relates to a relay station for selecting a channel in a local area network system and a method for the same. The relay station includes a transmitting and receiving unit transmitting and receiving a signal and a control unit calculating interference of an adjacent channel of which a frequency band is partially overlapped on each channel including the channels with the partially overlapped frequency band and determining the channel receiving minimum interference as the channel which the relay station uses. PURPOSE: A visible light communication method and a mobile communication terminal for the same are provided to implement visible light receiving unit by using a light sensor technology without installing a photodiode. CONSTITUTION: An illumination sensor(170) converts the received optical signal into an electric signal. The illumination sensor filters the converted electric signal. The illumination sensor measures illumination by using the converted electric signal. PURPOSE: A device and a method for obtaining optimized transmission rate by using multi light emitting diode are provided to transmit data by calculating maximum transmission rate with each data when transmitting two different data at the same tiem. CONSTITUTION: A controller performs singular value decomposition about provided channel if a plurality of data is inputted. The controller calculates the modulation size value of many data through the performed specified value decomposition. The controller calculates the transmission rate of the data by using the modulation size value. Two modulators(211,213) modulates data according to the obtained modulation size and transmission rate. A transmission unit transmits the modulated data.

PURPOSE: A fractional support allocating device and a method thereof are provided to support a multi user service as avoiding interference between multi users. CONSTITUTION: A photodiode information detecting unit(228) detects information of a photodiode which received the signal if the signal is received from at least one mobile terminal. A signal strength measuring unit(226) measures a strength of a signal received through the photodiode. A light source selecting unit(222) determines a light source area which will be allocated to at least one mobile terminal among the total light source area by suing a measuring result from the signal strength measuring unit and information from the photodiode detecting unit.
