Abstract: PURPOSE: An image photographing device and a control method are provided to photograph a moving picture and a still image at the same time and magnify and display the still image about the specific area when outputting the moving image thereby displaying the enlarged photo of high quality. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(140) outputs a moving picture. If the given area of the moving picture is appointed, a control unit(150) searches a still image about the given area and displays on the display unit. If a photographing mode is a simultaneous photographing mode, the control unit photographs periodically the still image among the moving picture. The control unit records the time photographing the still image among the moving picture as tag information.
