Abstract: PURPOSE: A filter assembly and a vacuum cleaner with the same are provided to grasp the amount of the dust filter by a filter without separating the filter assembly from a cleaner body. CONSTITUTION: A filter assembly(9) for a cleaner comprises a filter(20), a filter housing(10), and a handle(30). The filter filters the dust from the air discharged from a dust collector. The filter is accepted in the filter housing. The filter housing comprises a supporting part. The supporting part is contacted with one side of the dust collector. The supporting part supports the single-side of the dust collector in case the dust collector is installed on the cleaner body. The handle is installed on the filter housing.
