    Abstract: PURPOSE: A monitor device is provided to adjust a rotation angle of a monitor main body with respect to a base member properly. CONSTITUTION: In a monitor device having a monitor main body(2) and a base member(1) for supporting the monitor main body(2), a link member(10) is inserted between the monitor main body(2) and the base member(1). A base hinge(20) connects one end of the link member(10) and the base member(1) for rotating the link member(10) to a plate surface of the base member(1) within a predetermined angle range. A monitor hinge(70) connects the other end of the link member(10) to the monitor main body(2) at a position separated from the base hinge(20). Auxiliary link members(100,110) transmit a rotation movement of the link member(10) with respect to the base member(1) as a rotation movement of the monitor main body(2). A pair of fixed brackets(4,6) are fixed to the base member(1). The base hinge(20) includes the first and the second base hinge units(30,40) for connecting both lower ends of the link member(10) to the fixed brackets(4,6). The first base hinge units(30) include the first pin receiving unit formed at the lower portion of the link member(10), a boss receiving unit formed at the first fixed brackets(4), and the first hinge pin one end thereof is inserted into the first pin receiving unit whose other end is engaged to the boss receiving unit. The first hinge pin includes the first torsion spring which counters with a movement of the link member(10).
