    Abstract: 개시된 본 발명에 의한 화상형성장치는 감광체와, 감광체에 빛을 조사하여 정전잠상을 형성시키는 노광장치와, 감광체에 현상제를 부착하여 가시화상을 형성시키는 현상기와, 감광체에 형성된 가시화상을 인쇄매체로 전사시키는 전사장치와, 열을 발생하는 히팅롤러, 히팅롤러와 밀착되는 가압롤러, 히팅롤러 및/또는 가압롤러를 보호하는 정착기커버를 갖는 정착기를 포함하고, 정착기커버의 내부면에는 상승하는 공기의 흐름 방향을 따라 연장되는 복수의 리블렛(riblet)이 형성된 것을 특징으로 한다. 이러한 본 발명에 의하면, 정착기커버의 내부면에 공기의 상승 방향을 따라 가는 홈 형태의 리블렛이 다수 구비됨으로써, 히팅롤러에서 주변으로의 열전달이 억제된다.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A color image forming apparatus is provided to optimize the time of photo exposure point about the photoconductor of the next color and to minimize mis-registration. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of mark sensing units senses a mark that is transferred in a non-image area of a transfer belt(122). A control unit(160) forms the mark. The control unit transfers the mark to the transfer belt. A sensing signal is generated in case a plurality of mark sensing units senses the mark. The control unit determines a photo exposure point which forms an electrostatic latent image based on the sensing signal.

    Abstract: An image forming apparatus is provided to suppress heat transferred to surroundings from a heating roller. An image forming apparatus comprises a photoconductor(33), an exposure apparatus(34), a developer(35), a transferring apparatus(36) and a fuser(50). The exposure apparatus applies light on the photoconductor to form an electrostatic latent image. The developer forms a visible image by adhering a developing agent on the photoconductor. The transferring apparatus transfers the visible image formed on the photoconductor to a printing medium. The fuser comprises a heating roller, a pressing roller and a fuser cover. The heating roller generates heat. The pressing roller is closely contacted with the heating roller. The fuser cover protects the heating roller and/or the pressing roller.

    Abstract: A paper feeding device is provided to prevent friction noise generated by sliding contact between paper and a transfer guide by allowing the paper to be transported in rolling contact with an idle roller of the transfer guide. A paper feeding device comprises a pick-up unit(32) and a lifting unit(33). The pick-up unit is located in the front of an upper portion of a paper cassette in a paper transfer direction, and picks up the uppermost paper loaded in the paper cassette. The lifting unit lifts paper vertically when the pick-up unit picks up the paper.
