PURPOSE: A transmitting device, a receiving device thereof, and a transceiving method thereof are provided to supply new content to a user by overcoming a transmission bandwidth limit by transceiving different data through different paths with existing facilities. A first transmitting unit(120) transmits the encoded multimedia data through a first transmission network. A decoder(113) decodes the encoded multimedia data. A detection unit(140) detects first data from the first real time transport stream. A second detection unit(150) detects second data from the second real time transport stream. A TS(Transport Stream) generator(120) multiplexes the link information and plurality of ES between a plurality of video information. PURPOSE: A multi stream generating method, a device, a receiving method and a device thereof are provided to solve inconvenience that a user can feel improper depth sense between video and additional reproduction information. CONSTITUTION: A program encoding unit(110) generates a video ES stream, audio ES stream, an optional data stream and a supplementary information stream. The program encoding unit generates a video PFS packet, a video PES packet, an additional data PES packet and an optional information packet by packing the video ES stream, the video ES stream, and the additional data stream. An apparatus and a method for providing story information of contents are provided to exactly extract a time location of story information up to a current time point in all stories by using timing information due to a story request. A key input unit(120) inputs a story information command. A memory unit(130) stores metadata based on time and contents data. If the story information request is received through the key input unit while reproducing contents, a controller(140) extracts the request time based on time information recorded every time unit of contents. If metadata based on time exists in the memory unit, the controller extracts story information before the request time and displays the extracted information. If the story information request signal is received through the controller, a communication unit(110) receives story metadata based on time based on wire or wireless.

A recording contents processing apparatus receives contents of an encoded broadcast stream type based on MPEG(410). The recording contents processing apparatus extracts EPG and meta data from the contents of the received broadcast contents(420). The recording contents processing apparatus generates user interactive information by analyzing a user watching type by using EPG information and watching type preference(450).
