    Abstract: A cylindrical photobioreactor is provided to induce the mass culture of microalgae by using cylinder type light emitting diode, column type light source, circular light source, and helical light source. A cylinderical photobioreactor comprises: a reaction chamber(10) which contains microalgae; a cylindrical light source(20) which is stacked in a constant site inside the reactor; a gas inlet port(10a) which is connected from the lower part of reaction chamber; a gas discharge port(10b) which is connected to the lower part in the center of reactor; and a control switch which controls the intensity of light of cylindrical light source. An organic LED(light emitting diode) or flexible LED is equipped at outside and inside of cylindrical substrate.
