    Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided are a catalyst carrier for rocket thrusters wherein the catalyst carrier has maintains porosity and high-strength features and has a large specific surface area at high temperatures of 1473-1673K, and thereby maintaining activation of the catalyst even when an environment-friendly propellant is used. The activation of the catalyst is maintained even in case of using the environment-friendly propellant, and the manufacturing method thereof. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a catalyst carrier for a rocket comprises the steps of: molding alumina particles; and impregnating the alumina element with a solution including a group 2 element or a lanthanoid element, and thereby manufacturing hexaaluminate particles including the elements.
