Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and a method for efficiently managing and registering lighting. More particularly, the present invention relates to a system and a method for efficiently registering or managing wired/wireless lighting. To this end, the system for managing the lighting according to the present invention includes a relay for registering a lighting node according to a request by the lighting node embedded therein with a wired or wireless module and providing information of the lighting node to a user terminal. The relay includes a connecting and locking switch. When the connecting and locking switch is in a connection status, the registration requested by the external lighting node is accepted. When the connecting and locking switch is in a locking status, the registration requested by the external lighting node is rejected.
