    Abstract: Disclosed are immidazolium based ionic liquid functionalized with acid, and a method for the separation of carbon dioxide using the same. The immidazolium based ionic liquid functionalized with acid of the present invention has excellent carbon dioxide absorption ability, and the absorbed carbon dioxide is easily separated by heating. The immidazolium based ionic liquid is convenient to use, and can be used for collecting CO2 by having selectivity, thermal stability, repetitive usage capacity, and long usage lifetime.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A carbon dioxide absorbent with superior anticorrosion and a manufacturing method of the same are provided to minimize the corrosion of an apparatus for a carbon dioxide absorption process.
