Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for configuring protocol header is provided to effectively process protocol header information of a variable length in a receiving device by easily extracting variable length header information. CONSTITUTION: A variable length physical layer header(123) and a fixed length physical layer header(121) are composed. The fixed length physical layer header is encoded according to a first coding scheme. A header check sequence is generated in order to check the fixed length physical layer header, the variable length physical layer header and the combination of MAC header. The MAC(Media Access Control) header and HCS(Header Check Sequence) which are scrambled by scrambling the MAC header and HCS are generated. The variable length physical layer header, the scrambled MAC header and HCS are encoded according to a second coding scheme.

Abstract: A data transceiving apparatus using the polarization transmission in an LOS wireless communication system and a method thereof are provided to transmit/receive data by using the polarization diversity when transmitting the data by using a directional antenna. Abstract: A hybrid despreading device of the direct sequence spread spectrum scheme is provided to perform the dispreading, signal detection, synchronization and transmission frequency error estimation, simply. Abstract: A method for constituting a frame for high speed wireless communication and a high speed wireless communication apparatus using the same are provided to perform a high speed data transmission at low system clock speed when implementing a digital circuit. A high speed wireless communication apparatus includes a frame configuration unit(101), a demultiplexer(103), N coding/modulating units(105), and a multiplexer(121). Abstract: An apparatus and a method for uniformly keeping a bit rate of image data are provided to compress image data for each line according to the property of channel and image data and transmit the compressed data so that the bit rate may be maintained uniformly. Abstract: An apparatus and a method for compensating for a frequency using a preamble are provided to improve accuracy of calculation for a frequency offset by delaying a received signal with a parallel structure, calculating a phase difference, and calculating an average value. An apparatus for compensating for a frequency using a preamble comprises a signal delaying part(210,211,212), a phase calculating part(213,215,216), an average calculating part(217,218,219), and an averaging part(220). In the signal delaying part, at least one or more delaying parts delaying a received first signal for a predetermined time and outputting the delayed signal are connected sequentially, and outputs at least one or more second signals having a different delay time, respectively. The phase calculating part obtains each pair of complex numbers of the second signals, performs a predetermined operation between each pair of the complex numbers and the first signal for obtaining phase difference, respectively. The average calculating part calculates an average value of the phase differences for a predetermined time. The averaging part calculates an average value for at least one or more average values of the average calculating part, and outputs the average value as a frequency offset.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for estimating a channel coefficient in a DSSS(Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum) wireless pico cell communication system are provided to improve system performance and reduce complexity by estimating an accurate channel characteristics value.
