Abstract: PURPOSE: A fuel efficiency calculation apparatus and method for a vehicle are provided to accurately measure fuel efficiency based on whether to refuel, the amount of refueling, and the opening/closing of a fuel inlet. CONSTITUTION: A fuel efficiency calculation apparatus comprises a flow meter(100) which measures the fuel amount of a vehicle, a driving recorder(200) which records the driving distance of the vehicle, a fuel inlet detector(300) which detects the opening/closing of a fuel inlet, and a controller(400) which calculates fuel efficiency from the prior refueling point of time to the current refueling point of time using the fuel amount and the driving distance according to the sensing signal of the fuel inlet detector.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and a device for correcting a transmission point of an uplink packet are provided to minimize the interference among symbols by correcting the transmission point of an uplink packet. CONSTITUTION: A ranging receiver(123) receives a ranging packet. A delay measuring unit(124) confirms the delay time of the ranging packet by comparing the time of the reception of the ranging packet with the base station symbol synchronous signal. A controller(126) sets the correction time of the uplink packet transmission point by checking the delay time. The uplink packet is set to arrive after a first section from the starting point of a cyclic prefix section by the correction fading. The first section is decided in consideration of the maximum transmission speed of the mobile station and the cycle of the cyclic ranging.

Abstract: A method and a system for refusing the network entry in a mobile multi-hop relay system are provided to inhibit the request of the continuous network entry of a relay station when refusing the network entry at a base station. A relay station transmits the network entry request of a mobile station to a base station(S250). Thereafter, the relay station receives the network entry refusal response from the base station(S270).
