Abstract: Disclosed are a method for transceiving packets for traffic distribution, and an access point and a terminal apparatus using the same. The access point according to the present invention includes a wireless LAN communications module; a visible light communications module; and a traffic distribution unit to confirm a characteristic of a packet to be transmitted for determining whether the packet is a control packet or a data packet, to classify and transmit the packet using the wireless LAN communications module when the packet is the control packet or a data packet of low capacity, to classify and transmit the packet using the visible light communications module when the packet is a multi-media or a data packet of high capacity.
