Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for tracing RFID tag are provided to quickly trace the location of the tag without comparing the arrival time of sub blinks transmitted from the tags. CONSTITUTION: A tag ID generating unit(300) creates a tag ID of an RFID(Radio Frequency ID) tag. A blink generating unit(301) creates the sub blink signals comprising the blink signal. The sub blink ID generating unit(308) creates the sub blink ID of the sub blink signal. The sub blink ID inserting unit(302) inserts sub blink IDs into sub blink signals. A transmitting unit(303) transmits the tag ID and the blink signal containing sub blink IDs.
