Abstract:
Provided is a digital predistortion linearizer applicable to millimeter-wave band point-to-point communications. The digital predistortion linearizer includes a transmission unit and a reception unit. The reception unit receives a first signal including a transmission signal and a distortion signal through a millimeter-wave propagation environment, detects the distortion signal from the first signal, and transmits information on the detected distortion signal with the first signal to the transmission unit. The transmission unit generates a predistortion signal using the information on the distortion signal and the first signal received from the reception unit, couples the generated predistortion signal with the transmission signal, and outputs the coupled signal.

PURPOSE: A data-transmit-receiving apparatus and method are provided to transmit high-capacity data with high-speed by transmitting and receiving high-speed data to point to point communications using a millimeter wave band. CONSTITUTION: A network interface card module(210) creates a number gigabit grade serial bit stream by bundling gigabit Ethernet data which is transmitted and received from a plurality of internet networks(200). The network interface card module processes data by changing the number gigabit grade serial bit stream into Ethernet data. A baseband module(230) processes the data which is changed in the network interface card module in a baseband. An RF(Radio Frequency) module(260) processes the data which is processed at the baseband module in an RF band.

PURPOSE: A transceiving digital signal processing device for compensating gain flattening in band is provided to relax a standard about a flattening in band in realizing RF/IF circuit by improving gain flattening in band through an FIR filter in a transceiving unit of an existing system. CONSTITUTION: A transmission FIR(Finite Impulse Response) filter(411) performs shaping of the initial set data for converting an initial setting data into a signal having a predetermined pass band. A comparator(413) compares the converted initial setting data for generating a control signal and deterioration information which is feedback from a receiver.

PURPOSE: A waveguide filter using a cavity is provided to form a connection with an external module without an additional element by positioning input and output parts of a waveguide at an arbitrary point. CONSTITUTION: A first input and output part(305) receives an external signal. The first input and output part is positioned at one side of a cavity(303). The cavity is formed to filter an external signal by using mode coupling. A second input and output part(307) is positioned at the other side of the cavity. The second input and output part outputs the filtered external signal. The cavity is formed with a shape of a polygon, a shape of a circle or a shape of ellipse.

PURPOSE: A plane type lens for a solar cell and a solar cell module having the same are provided to improve the convergence through a simple process by forming a plurality of grooves, having a width and depth corresponds to a focus distance from a solar cell, on a dielectric substrate. CONSTITUTION: In a plane type lens for a solar cell and a solar cell module having the same, a plane dielectric substrate(110) having a first dielectric constant is provided. A plurality of grooves(130) are formed on one side(111) of the plane dielectric substrate. The plural grooves are filled with a dielectric having a second dielectric constant different from the first dielectric constant. The width of the each groove has more than a half of wave length of a light which is projected on a plane lens for the solar cell. A reflective member(150) in installed in the opposite side of the plane dielectric substrate and reflects an incident light.

PURPOSE: A slot antenna is provided to gain a high directionality and an omnidirectional radiation pattern by forming a plurality of slots on a ground plane of a strip transmission line. CONSTITUTION: A slot antenna includes a dielectric substrate(110), a ground plane and a pair of stubs(130). Micro strip transmission lines(160,170) and a strip transmit line(150) are formed on the dielectric substrate. The ground plane is respectively located on upper side and lower side of the dielectric substrate. The ground plane is connected through a plurality of ground vias(122,142) each other. A pair of stubs is arranged on the dielectric substrate as the fixed interval. An interval and a length of a pair of stubs are in inverse to a frequency.

PURPOSE: An antenna is provided to improve a reliability of a transmitting/receiving module by changing a structure of a horn antenna unit. CONSTITUTION: An antenna includes a horn antenna unit(110) and one or more mode changing unit(120). The horn antenna unit has a rectangular opening side. A lattice(130) is formed on the inner surface of the horn antenna unit. The mode changing unit is formed inside of the horn antenna unit into a stair shape. The mode changing unit connects the horn antenna unit with a micro strip transmission line. The micro strip transmission line is formed on a dielectric substrate(140). One side of a contact unit is connected to an end part of the mode changing unit. The other side of the contact unit is connected to the micro strip transmission line.

An antenna containing groove scatterers is provided to laminate a plurality of metal plates to make a reflective plate and to form a groove in the reflective plate in order to scatter electromagnetic wave. An antenna containing groove scatterers comprises a plurality of layered metal plates. The layered metal plates have grooves(11) having different depth. The further the grooves are from the center of the metal plate, the shallower the depths become in one orbit among a parabolic orbit, oval orbit and hyperbolic orbit. When the depth of the groove is more than the wavelength of electromagnetic wave scattered in the groove, the depth of the groove is determined to half the wave.

A high frequency differential mixer is provided to reduce a dimension of a chip by generating an ideal differential signal from a switching current. An active load(100) includes one or more transistors(QAL1,QAL2,QAL3,QAL4). The transistors are cross-connected. A switching part(110) is connected to the active load. The switching part includes a switching transistor for performing a switching operation. A conversion part(120) is connected to the switching part. The conversion part converts a high frequency signal of a single mode into a high frequency signal of a differential mode. The conversion part comprises an nMOS-FET(n-type Metal Oxide Semiconductor-Field Effect Transistor) of a common gate and a common source.
