Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for exchanging a message required for interaction between entities in a coexistence management system managing multiple frequency sharing devices. The method for exchanging a message in a coexistence management system including a coexistence enabler (CE), a coexistence manager (CM), and a coexistence discovery and information server (CDIS) according to the present invention comprises the following steps of creating a reconfiguration request message by the CM and transmitting the message to the CE; and waiting for a reconfiguration response message from the CE, wherein the reconfiguration request message can include at least one among an operating channel list, a transmission power limit, a channel sharing status flag, a transmission schedule, and channel classification information of WSO provided by the CE.

Abstract: Provided are an apparatus and a method for determining the identity of a wireless LAN system occupying a channel using information within a signal field or time synchronization between target channels.
