Abstract: PURPOSE: A base station interface device within a wireless communication RNC(Radio Network Controller) and a cell processing method thereof are provided to designate many lines as one group according to transceiving data, and to implement a device having an IMA(Inverse Multiplexing for ATM) function to vary transmission bandwidth, thereby implementing easy and cheap operation and maintenance. CONSTITUTION: A power supplier(36) supplies power to each module. A controller(34) generates a control signal for an AAL type conversion function. The UTOPIA interface(33) interfaces with an ATM switch according to the control signal.
