Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a skin care food composition which improves skin care effect by enhancing synthesis of collagen and anti-skin aging effect. The composition contains extracts of medicinal herbs such as Radix polygoni muliflori, Astragalus, foxglove, paeonia, angelica root, Nelumbo fruit, Schizandra, etc. CONSTITUTION: A skin care food composition comprises 10-80wt.% of the herb extracts consisting of 100wt.% of Radix polygoni muliflori, 80-120 wt.% of Astragalus, 80-120 wt.% of Polygonati Rhizoma, 70-100 wt.% of foxglove, 70-100 wt.% of paeonia, 70-100 wt.% of angelica root, 40-70 wt.% of Nelumbo fruit, 40-70 wt.% of Schizandra, 40-70 wt.% of cornus fruit, 30-60 wt.% of Ganoderma lucidum, 30-60 wt.% of white Actractylis, 30-60 wt.% of white Actractylis, 20-50 wt.% of white agaric and 20-50 wt.% of Glycyrrhiza.
