    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding device, with which an injection molding cycle is shortened so as to enhance its productivity and, at the same time, a molded body is prevented from deforming. SOLUTION: In this device, an injection-molded body is primarily cooled in the cavity of a mold assembly and then taken out of the mold assembly for secondarily cooling. This device consists of the mold assembly 1, which is connected to an injection device 2 and has split structures consisting of a cavity, and a holding means 3, which is provided adjacent to the mold assembly 1 and with which an obtained molded body is taken out of the mold assembly and is cooled secondarily. In addition, the holding means 3 is equipped with at least one chuck, which is made movably to and from the split region of the mold assembly under a mold opened state.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the composite grains of the spherical magnetic carrier high in a content of the magnetic grains and not containing water-soluble insoluble inorganic salts in the surfaces by specifying the number average grain diameter and the content of the magnetic grains of the composite grains. SOLUTION: The composite grains of the spherical magnetic carrier comprises the magnetic grains converted on the surfaces into lipophilicity in an amount of 80-99weight% of the carrier and a cured phenolic resin having a number average grain diameter of 10-1600μmg. As the magnetic grains, ordinary magnetic materials, such as magnetite and barium ferrite, are used. The phenolic materials to be used are as follows; phenol, m-cresol, p-tertiary-butylphenol, o-propylohenol, bisphenol A, and the like alkylphenols, and the halogenated alkylphenols of which the benzene group or the alkyl group is chlorinated or brominated, that is, the compounds each having a phenolic hydroxyl group, and phenol is preferable when the form of the composite grains is considered.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve durability, impact strength, and heat resistance by reacting a phenol or a phenol resin with an aldehyde in the presence of inorg. particles of which the surfaces have been made lipophilic in advance and a basic catalyst in an aq. medium under specified conditions. CONSTITUTION:The surfaces of inorg. particles (e.g. TiO2) are made lipophilic by treating with a coupling agent (e.g. vinyltrichlorosilane) or a surfactant. Then, one mol of a phenol or a phenol resin and 1-4mol of an aldehyde are reacted in the presence of the treated inorg. particles in a wt. of 0. 5-200 times as much as the phenol or phenol resin and 0.02-0.7mol of a basic catalyst (e.g. diethylenetriamine) in an aq. medium in such an amt. that the total solid content is 30-95wt.% under stirring with a peripheral stirrer speed of 1m/sec or higher at 80 deg.C or higher until the curing proceeds. The reaction product is cooled to 40 deg.C or lower to give a spherical composite phenol resin powder contg. the inorg. particles and having a number average particle diameter of 10-100mum and particle content of 80-99wt.%.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance aptitude to the carrier for color copying by using the electrophotographic white carrier composed essentially of fine ferromagnetic particles and having a specified L value. CONSTITUTION:The carrier is composed essentially of fine ferromagnetic particles and has a L value of 50 - 100 on the surface in the Lab color development system obtained by forming composite particles having a number average particle diameter of 10 - 1,000mum and a ferromagnetic content of 80 - 99wt.% and chemically plating the surfaces of the particles with a white type metal having an L value of 50 - 100. If said number average particle diameter is 1,000mum, a sharp image cannot be obtained, thus permitting a sharp image to be obtained in the color copying.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain composite particles having an average particle diameter of 1 - 10mum and a bulk density of and an enhanced content of fine ferromagnetic particles by advancing hardening reaction of a phenol resin simultaneously with its reaction in a first stage in specified conditions at the time of producing the fine composite particles comprising the fine ferromagnetic particles and the hardened phenol resin. CONSTITUTION:The content of the ferromagnetic particles can be enhanced by reacting and hardening the phenols with aldehydes particles in an aqueous medium in the presence of a basic catalyst, and the average particle diameter of the produced composite particles can be adjusted to 1 - 10mum by controlling the concentration of the ferromagnetic particles at the time of reaction, thus permitting the obtained composite particles to have an average particle diameter of 1 - 10mum and a bulk density of and a content of the fine ferromagnetic particles of 80 - 99wt.%.
