Abstract:
Techniques for movement languages in wearable- devices are described, including receiving input from a sensor coupled to a wearable device, processing the input to determine a pattern, the pattern associated with a movement, referencing a pattern library stored in a database to compare the pattern to a set of patterns in the pattern library, and performing an operation based on a comparison of the pattern to the set of patterns.
Abstract:
Techniques for component protective overmolding using protective external coatings include a device having a framework configured to be worn, a button assembly coupled to the framework, the button assembly configured to send a signal to a circuit, the button assembly including a button configured to be depressed to displace a button shaft, a button inner housing coupled to the button and the button shaft, and a button outer housing coupled to the button inner housing, a first ring configured to form a first seal disposed substantially between the button inner housing and the button shaft, a second ring configured to form a second seal disposed substantially between the button inner housing and the button outer housing, and an outer molding formed over a portion of the button assembly.
Abstract:
Techniques for a wearable device and platform for sensory input are described, including a sensor coupled to a framework having a housing having one or more moldings, the sensor being configured to sense at least one sensory input, a processor configured to transform the at least one sensory input to data during an activity in which the wearable device is worn, and a communications facility coupled to the wearable device and configured to transfer the data between the wearable device and another device during the activity, the data being configured to be presented on a user interface.

Abstract:
Techniques for data-capable band management in association with, for example, an autonomous advisory application and network communication data environment are described. In some examples, a method can detect a signal configured to initiate a synchronization function being transmitted from a wearable computing device to an application, as an example. In some cases, a method can include performing a synchronization function to, for example, transfer data from the wearable computing device to the application. Further, a method can include causing presentation to an interface on a computing device to display information associated with a wearable computing device, as determined by the data transferred to the application, for example, after a synchronization function is performed and/or a type of motion is synchronized.

Abstract:
Techniques for media device, application, and content management using sensory input determined from a data-capable watch band are described, including receiving input from one or more sensors coupled to a data-capable strapband, processing the input to determine a pattern, referencing a pattern library using the pattern, generating a control signal to a media application, the control signal being determined based on whether the pattern matches another pattern in the pattern library, and selecting a media file configured to be presented, the media file being selected using the control signal.
