Abstract: Techniques for controlling the maximum transmission power utilized by transmitters of user equipment are provided. More specifically, a base station may control a transmission power of a transmitter of user equipment that is communicatively coupled to the base station to cause the transmission power of the transmitter to comply with regulations of a geographic location that the user equipment is in. In addition to the base station, the user equipment may control the transmission power of the transmitter. In either case, the transmission power may be based on whether the user equipment is located indoors or outdoors, whether the base station is deployed indoors or outdoors, or both.

Abstract: An electronic device discussed herein may communicatively couple to a base station. The second paging cycle assignment may be generated based on the first paging cycle assignment. The base station may communicate with the electronic device using the second paging cycle assignment. The second paging cycle assignment may guide the base station to transmit data to the electronic device without interrupting a transmission made according to the first paging cycle assignment.

Abstract: User equipment may transmit and receive wireless signals to and from various communication networks. Furthermore, user equipment may indicate usage capabilities to the various wireless communication networks to enable the user equipment to transmit and/or receive wireless signals to and from at least two different communication networks. In particular, the user equipment may indicate usage capabilities of supporting both Frequency Range 2 (FR2) wireless signals of a fifth generation (5G) network and 7-24 gigahertz (GHz) wireless signals of a sixth generation (6G) network in an intermediate frequency range of the user equipment. The communication network(s) may then configure and/or schedule the user equipment based on the usage capabilities to enable the user equipment to simultaneously or non-simultaneously communicate using both the FR2 wireless signals and the 7-24 GHz wireless signals while preventing interference in the intermediate frequency range of the user equipment.

Abstract: A base station may send an indication of frequency subranges supported by the base station to user equipment, which may respond with an indication of the frequency subranges that are also supported by the user equipment. Additionally, a Spectrum Access System (SAS) controller, using environmental sensing capability sensors, may determine whether non-federal networks are disposed in a coverage area of a base station and neighboring coverage areas. If so, then the SAS may indicate to the base station to send an indication to user equipment in the coverage area to operate using a default power mode. Otherwise, the SAS may indicate to the base station to send an indication to the user equipment to operate using a lower power mode. Moreover, a base station may indicate a regulatory requirement to user equipment using network signaling value of multiple network signaling values corresponding to multiple regulatory requirements of multiple geographical regions.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for coordinating transmission and reception of data according to multiple communication standards over a frequency band. In particular, one or more base stations/mobile electronic devices may determine a first data size of first data to be sent conforming to a first communication standard and a second data size of second data conforming to a second communication standard. A first time period may then be determined for which to send the first data based on the first data size, and a second time period may be determined for which to send the second data based on the second data size. In response to determining that the frequency channel is clear of other transmissions, the first data may be sent according to the first standard in the first time period, and the second data may be sent according to the second standard in the second time period.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to allocating a satellite band (e.g., a satellite channel) with a New Radio (NR) channel and at least one Long-Term Evolution (LTE) channel to enable a user equipment to communicate using a satellite network. The satellite band may be configured to include the NR channel positioned (e.g., placed) such that the NR channel is shifted away from an edge of the satellite band (e.g., not disposed or located at the edge of the satellite band) and/or in the middle (e.g., center) of the satellite band with respect to frequency. Additionally, the satellite band may be configured to include the at least one LTE channel positioned at one or both of outer edges of the satellite band (rather than the middle). Further, the NR channel may be placed within a carrier center frequency range to reduce allowed additional maximum power reduction (A-MPR) values.
