Abstract:
Catalyst component for the polymerization of olefins comprising Mg, Ti and an electron donor of Formula (I) in which R, R1 and R4 groups, equal to or different from each other, are C1-C15 hydrocarbon groups and the R groups can be linked to form a cycle, R2-R3 groups, equal to or different from each other, are selected from hydrogen and C1-C15 hydrocarbon groups, the R1-R4 groups can optionally contain an heteroatom selected from halogen, P, S, N, O and Si, n is an integer from 0 to 5 and said electron donor and Ti atoms being present in an amount such that their molar ratio is equal to, or lower than, 0.65.
Abstract:
The present technology relates to a solid catalyst component for the polymerization of olefins comprising Mg, Ti and an electron donor of the general formula (I): where R1 is selected from C1-C15 hydrocarbon groups, the R2 groups are equal to or different from each other, are hydrogen, or the R1 groups can be fused together to form one or more cycles and A is a bivalent bridging group. The catalyst components of the present disclosure exhibit high activity and stereospecificity in the polymerization of olefins.
Abstract:
A process for the (co)polymerization of propylene carried out at a temperature ranging from 77 to 95°C in the presence of a catalyst comprising the product obtained by reacting: -an organo-aluminium compound, with -a solid catalyst component comprising Mg, Ti and electron donor compound selected from specific diolesters.
Abstract:
A catalyst system comprising the product obtained by contacting (a) a solid catalyst component containing Mg, Ti, halogen and at least an electron donor compound selected from 1,3-diethers; (b) an alkylaluminum cocatalyst; and (c) an ester of formula ROOC-(CH2)n-COOR in which n is an integer from 2 to 8, R groups, equal to or different from each other, are C1-C10 alkyl groups.
