    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for coating, gluing or connecting surfaces of mineral materials with a two-component plastic resin, selected from a hydrophobic polyurethane resin and a hydrophobic epoxy resin, by applying the plastic resin on the surface or connecting the surfaces of the mineral materials with the plastic resin and by leaving the plastic resin to harden.     Abstract: The invention relates to a component which is at least partly made of a layer structure. The layer structure comprises the following layers: (a) an elastomer layer with a density of more than 800 g/L, and (b) a duromer layer containing at least 50 wt.% of a first polyurethane.
