Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve durability and controllability by arranging a cord which is formed by adjusting aromatic polyamide fiber having the specified mechanism with the specified twist coefficient, at the specified cord angle so as to constitute a carcass ply, in a tyre described in the caption for an aircraft. CONSTITUTION:A carcass ply cord is constituted by setting the cord twist coefficient NT for aromatic polyamide fiber having mechanism shown by formula I and formula II, in the range of 0.4-0.53. And this cord is arranged at an angle of 5-15 deg. to the radial direction and a inner carcass ply cord 7 and an outer carcass ply cord 6 are so laminated as to cross each other so as to constitute the carcass ply 5. By this constitution, the durability and controllability can be improved.

Further, a reinforced belt layer 20 arranged outside the main belt layer 18 is constituted of the center region 20a consisting of the rubberized cord layers in which polytetramethylene adipoamide fiber cords are arranged at a cord angle of 0-25 deg. and the both side region 20c consisting of rubberized cord made of polyamide fiber. With such constitution, the center abrasion can be reduced.

According to this constitution, durability, steering stability and riding comfortableness are improved.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve duration for a high speed running by providing cord layers including cords which are arranged in parallel with the circumferential direction having specified physical properties, between a belt cord layer which is closest to the ground contact section, and a tread rubber layer. CONSTITUTION:A radial tire includes a carcass cord layer 4 which is provided between both bead sections, and the plural number of belt cord layers (A layer) 2 and 3 where cords which are provided at a position of a tread above the said carcass cord layer, are arranged so as to intersect one another. In this configuration, at lest more than one layer of cord B layers 5 are provided between the cord A layer 2 which is closest to a ground contact section, and a tread rubber layer 3 where cords of the B layer are arranged in parallel with the circumferential direction. The cord of the cord B layer is made of polytetramethyleneadipamido (4.6-nylon), as one of cords used for the tire, its elongation is specified to be less than 8.0% against 2.5g/d and its strength is specified to be more than 6.0g/d.

The radius proportion R/R' shall be within the range between 0.65 and 0.85.

CONSTITUTION:An organic fiber cord in a carcass ply arranged at a specified angle in the circumferential direction of a tire is formed by fiber composed of aromatic polyamide mixture. The aromatic polyamide mixture is let have the second polyamide and diaminobenzanilide unit at specified proportions. The fiber is set in such a manner that as raw yarn properties of matter, the strength is 18g/d or more, the cutting elongation is 4.0% or more, and the elongation when stress of 4.5g/d is applied is 1.2% or more. Further, the relation between the vertical height Hp(mm) above t//he intersection P of the bead base and the rim side to the turn-up end portion outward in the radial direction of a tire and the vertical height Hr(mm) above the intersection P to the rim end is set in such a manner as to satisfy the expression: Hp>=Hr+10(mm).
