PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording ink which stably can record an image having good fastness properties and an excellent quality level in any case over a long period of time. SOLUTION: This inkjet recording ink comprises a polymer dispersing agent composed of a block copolymer containing at least one or more hydrophobic blocks and one or more hydrophilic blocks, a water insoluble coloring agent, a water soluble organic solvent, and water, and the solubility parameter of the water soluble organic solvent to the solubility parameter of the hydrophilic block part of the polymer dispersing agent is in the range of -4.0 to +16.0 (J/cm 3 ) 1/2 . The pigment is a resin-coated pigment coated with a copolymer comprising hydrophilic units having at least hydrophobic units and nonionic hydrophilic groups. The resin-coated pigment is included in a polymeric dispersant which is a copolymer comprising hydrophilic units having at least hydrophobic units and anionic hydrophilic groups.
