Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable easy execution of the jam processing even if jamming occurs in a recording medium at any position in the conveyance path, by releasing the holding force of the conveyance means by a rise/fall mechanism and then drawing out the conveyance means from the recording position into a jam processing position outside of the apparatus body when carrying out the jam processing of the recording medium. CONSTITUTION:When a jamming takes place in a recording sheet 3, an operator grips a handle 30e and causes a chassis 16 to be lowered via a raising/lowering mechanism to cause the creation of a slight gap between a sub-scan roller 14a and a sub scan driven roller 14b and between a discharge roller 15a and a discharge driven roller 15b, thereby rendering ineffective the holding force by which the recording sheet 3 is held. Then, by pulling the handle 30e in an arrow-L indicated direction, the locking mechanism of the chassis 18 is brought to an unlocked condition. All conveyance means for the recording sheet 3 are thereby drawn out from the apparatus body. As a result, jam processing of the recording medium becomes easy and in addition the safety of the apparatus can be ensured.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To give a command of replacement of an original or the like to an assistant without being noticed by the audience in the case a lecturer is making a lecture apart from the device in a large hall. A lecturer operates an infrared ray remote commander 17 to display characters of 'NEXT' or 'LAST' on the LCD 10, and an assistant observes the LCD 10 to replace an original with another as commanded. When the LCD 10 is contained in the 2nd container section 5, a transparent original such as 35mm negative film is picked up by the transparent lighting device.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To improve transportation as well as protection for a camera head and a support, to protect a display device in the case of carrying even when the display device is provided, and to eliminate the need for provision of a transparent object light source and its power supply even when a transparent original is picked up. An LCD 8 is made removable from the device main body 5, and a 1st container section 6 and a 2nd container section 7 are provided to contain the LCD 8 selectively to the device main body 5 corresponding to the position outside an image pickup area 24 and nearly in the middle of the image pickup area 24 of the camera head 1 on the original platen 4. The part of the original platen 4 corresponding to the 1st container section 6 and the 2nd container section 7 is made of transparent resin 4a and translucent resin 4b. and the LCD 8 is contained in the 1st container section 6 as a monitor and the LCD 8 is contained in the 2nd container section 7 as a transparent light device.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To eaisly point out a part desired for explanation even when a transparent original such as a negative film is in use. When the LCD 10 is contained in the 1st container section 4, the device is used as a monitor and seen easily.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain the image input device by selecting a portrait position or a writing and picture position of a camera head without manual operation of the operator on each occasion. CONSTITUTION: The image input device is provided with a camera head 1, a camera base 2, a support section 3, a base 4, legs 4b, 4c, a lighting unit 5, a control box 8, and a monitor 9 or the like. An image received from the camera head 1 is once stored in an image storage means and the image whose upside is turned down is outputted. Since the operator is resident in the position 90, an original 14 is placed while its upside is directed to the leg 4c of the base 4. The camera head 1 picks up an image of the original 14 and an image 14' of the original is displayed on the monitor 9. When the camera head 1 is turned in the direction of the arrow A from this state and picks up the operator almost in a horizontal direction, an image of the operator whose head is located to the lower position of the screen is displayed on the monitor 9. The image picked up when the camera head 1 is directed nearly in the horizontal direction is directly displayed on the monitor 9 not through an image storage means 57. The image picked up when the camera head 1 is directed nearly just below is displayed on the monitor 9 after passing through the image storage means 57 to turn upside of the image down.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain the image input device with a comparatively simple structure and easily carried. CONSTITUTION: The image input device 1 is provided with a camera section 35, a universal head section 2, a support 5, a base 7, legs 8, 11 and controlled by a circuit block or a computer 40. The operator operates the circuit block 15 or the computer 40 at first to fold the image input device 1 so as to operate the universal head section 2 such a way that the camera section 35 is set nearly to be a horizontal position, and cables are removed from respective device parts. Then the legs 8 are turned in the direction F and raised along the support 5 at a position of a notch 36 of the base 7. The leg 11 is similarly raised. The lengthwise dimension of the case is made longitudinally compact by effectively arranging the image input device 1 in which the legs 8, 11 are folded and the camera section 35 and the universal head section 2 are removed, the removed camera section 35 and universal head section 2, a cable 13 whose both ends are provided respectively with connectors 14a, 14b and the circuit block 15 into the case.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the terminal equipment from being floated from a desk or the like and to prevent movement of a cover when an operation button is depressed by devising the terminal equipment such that the cover cannot be turned by a cover turning block means when a handset is extracted from the cover. CONSTITUTION:When a handset 8 is extracted from a cover 6, a stopper 21 is moved up to a turning block position of the cover 6 in a direction of the arrow F while pushing a hook switch 20 by an energizing force of a spring 27. When the hook switch 20 is at this position, one end (rectangular part) 26a of the stopper 26 is projected from a window 6b of the cover 6 and the rectangular part 26a is fitted to a groove 2d of a 1st operation section 2 of the main body side to set the lock state to the cover 6 in which the turning is blocked at a fully open position. Since the cover 6 is blocked for turning in the direction of arrow (returning direction = closing direction) and set to the fully open position in this way, the operator gets a sense of operation similar to that when the handset 8 is supported to the cover and attains a pleasant talking.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To issue a warning when the non-emission of ink is detected and to count the number of times of non-emission to display the same by providing an electrode coming into contact with ink to charge an ink liquid droplet emitted and flown from an emitting orifice in a recording head. CONSTITUTION:When a printing signal 20 of an H-level is inputted to an AND circuit 21, the output of the AND circuit 21 becomes an L-level and a non- emission warning part 22 and a counter 24 are not operated. That is, a correct printing is performed. When the non-emission of ink is generated, a charged ink liquid droplet does not pass through a coil 19 and, therefore, no current is generated and a signal of an H-level is inputted to the AND circuit 21 connected by a negative theory. At this time, the printing signal 20 of an Hlevel is inputted to the AND circuit 21 and a signal of an H-level is inputted to the non-emission warning part 22 and the counter 24.

The cover 6 is turned into a closed state because it is supported freely rotatably at its one end by the communication terminal equipment main body 1 and a fulcrum 6a, and simultaneously, the pawl shape 9a of a cover hook 9 equipped at the other end gets into the groove part 2a of the first operating part 2 of a main body side, and it protects the first operating part 2 and the LCD 3 of the main body side. A handle 14 rotates around the fulcrum 14a, and is fixed by a positioning means. In this state, the operator can carry this equipment by holding the grip part of the handle 14.
